وَإِذۡ قَالَ إِبۡرَ ٰهِیمُ رَبِّ ٱجۡعَلۡ هَـٰذَا ٱلۡبَلَدَ ءَامِنࣰا وَٱجۡنُبۡنِی وَبَنِیَّ أَن نَّعۡبُدَ ٱلۡأَصۡنَامَ ٣٥
wa-idh qāla ib'rāhīmu rabbi ij'ʿal hādhā l-balada āminan wa-uj'nub'nī wabaniyya an naʿbuda l-aṣnām
Remember when Abraham said, ‘Lord, make this town safe! Preserve me and my offspring from idolatry
(Remember) when Abraham said: “O my Lord! Make this city (Makkah) safe, and keep me and my sons away from the worship of idols.
And recall what time Ibrahim said: my Lord! make this City secure and keep me and my sons away from worshipping the idols
Remember when Abraham prayed: "O Lord, make this a city of peace, and preserve me and my progeny from worshipping idols
And Abraham had said, “My Rabb, make this city secure... Protect me and my sons from worshipping idols/deities.”
When Ibrahim said, ´My Lord! Make this land a place of safety and keep me and my sons from worshipping idols.
When Abraham said, ‘My Lord! Make this city a sanctuary, and save me and my children from worshiping idols
And (remember) when Abraham prayed: "My Lord! Make this land (Makkah) secure, and preserve me and my children (my sons and their descendants) from ever worshipping idols
(Recall the time) when Abraham said, `My Lord, make this (would be) city (of Makkah) secure and a haven of peace, and keep me and my children away from worshipping idols
And when Abraham said, 'My Lord, make this land secure, and turn me and my sons away from serving idols
And remember when Abraham said: “My Lord, make this territory safe, and keep me and my children away from serving idols;
Now (I open a new chapter and ask you to) remember when Abraham said: “My Lord, please make this place (Mecca) a city of peace and save me and my descendents from falling into idol worshipping trap.”
Remember Abraham said, “O my Lord, make this city one of peace and security, and save me and my sons from worshipping idols
And recall when Abraham said, “O my Lord, make this land safe and keep me and my sons away from worshiping human-shaped idols.”
And when Abraham said, 'My Lord, make this land safe, and turn me and my sons away from serving idols
And remember when Ibrahim prayed, "O my Lord! Make this town (Mecca) a safe one, and safeguard me and my sons from worshipping idols."
And when Abraham said, “O my Lord! Make this land safe and keep me and my children away from worshipping the idols.
Remember when Abraham said, O Lord, make this land a place of security; and grant that I and my children may avoid the worship of idols
And when Abraham said, "My Lord, make this land safe, and turn me and my sons away from serving idols
And when Abraham said: 'My Lord, make this a land secure. Turn me and my children away from worshipping idols
ABRAHAM said, "O Lord make this land secure, and turn aside me and my children from serving idols
And (bring to mind) when Ibrahim said: ‘My Nourisher-Sustainer! Establish this city-one of peace and tranquility, and protect me and my sons that we may worship idols
And when Abraham said: My Lord! Make this land that which is safe and cause me and my children to turn away from worshipping idols.
Recall that Abraham said, “O my Lord, make this city safe. Keep me and my sons from worshiping idols.
Remember when Ibrahim (Abraham) said: "My Rabb! Make this city a city of peace and save me and my sons from the worship of idols
And call to mind when Abraham prayed: "My Lord! Make this city secure, and keep me and my sons away from worshipping the idols
And when Abraham said: My Lord, make this city secure, and save me and my sons from worshipping idols
And when Ibrahim said, “My Fosterer ! make this city secure and save me and my sons from worshipping idols.
And when Abraham said, "My Lord! Make this a city of peace. And save me and my sons from worshipping idols."
And (recall) when Ibrahim (Abraham) submitted: ‘O my Lord, make this city (Mecca) a land of peace and keep me and my children from idol-worship
And Abraham said: "My Lord, make this town a sanctuary, and keep me and my sons away from serving idols."
AndAbraham said: "My Lord, make this a land of peace, and keep me and my sons away from serving statues.
And so it was, that Abraham said: "My Lord, make this a land of peace, and keep me and my sons away from serving statues."
And when Abraham Said: "My Lord make that, the country/land safe/secure, and distance me/make me avoid and my sons and daughters that we worship the idols ."
AND [remember the time] when Abraham spoke [thus]: "O my Sustainer! Make this land secure, and preserve me and my children from ever worshipping idols
And as Ibrahim (Abraham) said, "Lord! Make this land secure and make me and my seeds (Or: sons) avoid worshiping idols
And when Abraham said: My Lord! Make safe this territory, and preserve me and my sons from serving idols
(Muhammad), consider when Abraham prayed, "Lord, make this (Mecca) a peaceful territory and save me and my offspring from worshipping idols
(Recall) when Ibrahim said, .My Lord, make this city peaceful, and keep me and my children away from worshiping idols
(Recall) when ‘Abraham’ said: "O’ my Lord, make this city (‘Mecca’) safe, and keep me and my sons away from serving ( & venerating) idols.
And Ibraheem said, "My Lord, make this town (Makkah) peaceful and secure, and steer me and my progeny away from idol-worship!"
And (recall) when Abraham said: ‘O’ my Lord, make this city (Mecca) safe, and keep me and my sons away from serving idols.
And for once did Ibrahim express his thoughts in an invocatory prayer thus: "O Allah, my Creator", he said. may I ask You to confer on this town -Macca- security and make it afford a safe retreat and freedom of fear and anxiety, and guard me O Allah, my Creator, and my progeny from idolatry."
Remember when Ibrahim prayed: “My Lord, make this town safe and secure, and keep me and my children away from idol worship.
˹Remember˺ when Abraham prayed, “My Lord! Make this city ˹of Mecca˺ secure, and keep me and my children away from the worship of idols.
And when Ibrahim (Abraham) said: my Lord, make this land safe and prevent me and my children from serving idols.
Abraham said ‘‘Lord, make this¹ land secure. Preserve me and my descendants from serving idols
Recall that Abraham said, "My Lord, make this a peaceful land, and protect me and my children from worshiping idols.
Recall that Abraham said, "My Lord, make this land secure, and keep me and my children from ever worshipping idols-
Recall that Abraham said, “My Lord, make this land secure, and keep my children and I from ever worshipping idols-
And when Abraham said, “O my Lord, set up this town secure, and avoid me and my sons to worship the idols.”
And (remember) when Abraham said: 'My Lord, make this city secure and distance me and my children from worshipping the idols'.
Abraham said: 'My Lord! Make this land secure, and preserve me and my children from ever worshipping idols.
(Mankind needs Divine Guidance to be saved from selfishness and greed. To teach justice and equity among people Abraham founded the Sacred Center (2:125)). Recall that Abraham said, "My Lord! Make this a peaceful land and preserve me and my children from worshiping idols in any form."
And when Ibrahim said: My Lord! make this city secure, and save me and my sons from worshipping idols
And call to mind when Abraham said, `My Lord, make this a city of peace, and preserve me and my children from worshiping idols
And [remember] when Abraham said, “My Lord! Make this land secure, and keep me and my children from worshipping idols
And (remember) Ibrahim (Abraham) said: "O my Lord! Make this city (Makkah), one with Peace and security: And save me and my sons from praying to idols
When Abraham prayed, “My Lord, make this city secure, and keep me and my offspring from worshiping idols.”
Recall that Abraham said, 'O my Lord, make this land peaceful, and keep me and my sons from worshiping idols.'
And [mention, O Muhammad], when Abraham said, "My Lord, make this city [Makkah] secure and keep me and my sons away from worshipping idols
And when Abraham said, 'My Lord, make this land safe, and turn me and my sons away from serving idols.
Remember Abraham said: "O my Lord! make this city one of peace and security: and preserve me and my sons from worshipping idols
