فَٱخۡتَلَفَ ٱلۡأَحۡزَابُ مِنۢ بَیۡنِهِمۡۖ فَوَیۡلࣱ لِّلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوا۟ مِن مَّشۡهَدِ یَوۡمٍ عَظِیمٍ ٣٧
fa-ikh'talafa l-aḥzābu min baynihim fawaylun lilladhīna kafarū min mashhadi yawmin ʿaẓīmi
But factions have differed among themselves. What suffering will come to those who obscure the truth when a dreadful Day arrives
Then the sects differed (Christians about Jesus) among themselves. So woe to those who disbelieve from meeting of a great Day (of judgment).
Then the sects have differed among themselves; so woe to those who disbelieve in the witness of a Day Mighty
Yet the sectarians differed among themselves. Alas for the unbelievers when they see the Terrible Day
Then those of differing opinions (blinded from the Unity of Uluhiyyah) fell into dispute (slandered Allah)... Woe to those who deny the knowledge of the reality during that dreadful time!
The parties differed among themselves. Woe to those who are kafir when they are present on a terrible Day!
But the factions differed among themselves. So woe to the faithless at the scene of a tremendous day
And yet, the parties (the Jews and Christians) have differed among themselves (about him). Woe, then, to those who disbelieve because of the meeting of an awesome Day
Yet the various sects were divided among themselves. Woe shall befall those who deny the meeting of the great day
But the parties have fallen into variance among themselves; then woe to those who disbelieve for the scene of a dreadful day
Then the parties disagreed among themselves, so woe to those who disbelieve in seeing the great day (the Resurrection Day).
Unfortunately they divided themselves into different sects and presented different images of Jesus. Pity to the disbelievers on that Great Day in which they have to meet their Lord (and present the reasons for which they made Jesus son of God.
But the sects differ among themselves, and woe to the unbelievers because of the judgment of a momentous day
But the parties differed among themselves, so woe to those who have denied from the spectacle of a great day.
And the parties have disagreed amongst themselves, but woe to those who disbelieve, from the witnessing of the mighty day
Then groups among them differed; so ruin is for the disbelievers from the witnessing of a Great Day
But the sects disagreed among themselves and woe unto those who disbelieve from the encountering of an awful day.
Yet the sectaries differ among themselves concerning Jesus; but woe be unto those who are unbelievers, because of their appearance at the great day
And the sects among them disagree, but woe to those who disbelieve from the meeting of the mighty Day
But the parties have fallen into variance among themselves, then woe to those who disbelieve for the scene of a Dreadful Day
But the Sects have fallen to variance among themselves about Jesus: but woe, because of the assembly of a great day, to those who believe not
Then the groups differed amongst themselves. So woe to those who disbelieve because of the site of evidence and gathering on the Great Day
There was variance among the confederates, so woe to those who were ungrateful from the scene of a tremendous Day!
The sects differ among themselves. Woe to the unbelievers because of the judgment of a dreadful day!
Inspite of this, the sects from among them are divided concerning Jesus. So woe to the disbelievers who shall be punished after witnessing this Truth on the Great Day of Judgement
But different parties began to dispute with one another. A dreadful woe awaits on that great Day for those that reject the Truth
But parties from among them differed; so woe to those who disbelieve, because of their presence on a grievous day
But the parties disagreed among themselves. So sorrowful will be the state of those who do not believe because of their being present on the great day.
But the tribes disagreed among themselves — and woe to those who disbelieve — about the Court of Judgment to be assembled on a tremendous Day
Then their sects began to differ amongst themselves. So the disbelievers are doomed due to the presence on the Mighty Day (of Resurrection)
So the parties disputed between them. Therefore, woe to those who have rejected from the scene of a terrible Day
Thus the Confederates disputed between them. Therefore, woe to those who have rejected from the scene of a terrible Day

So the groups/parties differed/disagreed/disputed from between them, so grief/distress to those who disbelieved from an assembly of a great day
And yet, the sects [that follow the Bible] are at variance among themselves [about the nature of Jesus Woe, then, unto all who deny the truth when that awesome Day will appear
Yet the parties have differed among themselves; so woe to the ones who have disbelieved for the witnessing of a tremendous Day
The sects among them differ: but woe unto the disbelievers from the meeting of an awful Day
(The followers of Jesus) turned themselves into quarrelling sects. The disbelievers shall face a woeful condition on the great Day (of Judgment )
Then the groups among them fell in dispute. So, how evil is the fate of the disbelievers when they have to face the Great Day
Consequently, the sects among them differed. Woe unto those who believe not (in the Unity & Oneness of Allâh) from a scene of horrible day.
Groups have disputed amongst themselves regarding the day (of judgment). Witnessing that great day shall be disastrous for those who deny its coming
So the sects among them differed (and chased myths about Jesus) . Woe, then, to those who abandoned the truth (in favor of myths) from a scene of horrible day.
Nevertheless the various sects found a cause for which they were ready to contend to their life's end. Woe betide them who will not acknowledge Allah's Oneness, Uniqueness and Absoluteness. How distressful shall be the stormy scene they shall have to encounter on a Momentous Day
The sects differed among themselves; anguish awaits the disbelievers when the terrible Day comes.
Yet their ˹various˺ groups have differed among themselves ˹about him˺, so woe to the disbelievers when they face a tremendous Day!
Then the allies differed amongst themselves, so woe to those who reject (the truth) from the assembly on a tremendous day.
Yet are the sects at odds among themselves. But when the fateful day arrives, woe betide the unbelievers
