She That is to be Examined, Examining her, She Who is Tested 60:11

أَزْوَٰجِكُمْ azwājikum

ٱلْكُفَّارِ l-kufāri
the disbelievers Noun
فَعَاقَبْتُمْ faʿāqabtum
then your turn comes V
فَـَٔاتُوا۟ faātū
then give V
ٱلَّذِينَ alladhīna
(to) those who Noun
ذَهَبَتْ dhahabat
have gone V
أَزْوَٰجُهُم azwājuhum
their wives Noun
مِّثْلَ mith'la
(the) like Noun
مَآ mā
(of) what Noun
أَنفَقُوا۟ anfaqū
they had spent V
وَٱتَّقُوا۟ wa-ittaqū
And fear V
ٱللَّهَ l-laha
Allah Noun
ٱلَّذِىٓ alladhī
(in) Whom Noun
أَنتُم antum
you Noun
بِهِۦ bihi
[in Him] Noun
مُؤْمِنُونَ mu'minūna
(are) believers Noun

If any of you have wives who leave you for the disbelievers, and if your community subsequently acquires [gains] from them, then pay those whose wives have deserted them the equivalent of whatever bride-gift they paid. Be mindful of God, in whom you believe

وَإِن فَاتَكُمۡ شَیۡءࣱ مِّنۡ أَزۡوَ ٰجِكُمۡ إِلَى ٱلۡكُفَّارِ فَعَاقَبۡتُمۡ فَءَاتُوا۟ ٱلَّذِینَ ذَهَبَتۡ أَزۡوَ ٰجُهُم مِّثۡلَ مَاۤ أَنفَقُوا۟ۚ وَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ ٱلَّذِیۤ أَنتُم بِهِۦ مُؤۡمِنُونَ ۝١١

wa-in fātakum shayon min azwājikum ilā l-kufāri faʿāqabtum faātū alladhīna dhahabat azwājuhum mith'la mā anfaqū wa-ittaqū l-laha alladhī antum bihi mu'minūn
