قَالَ qāla
He said V
يَٰمُوسَىٰٓ yāmūsā
O Musa Noun
إِنِّى innī
Indeed, I Prep
ٱصْطَفَيْتُكَ iṣ'ṭafaytuka
have chosen you V
عَلَى ʿalā
over Prep
ٱلنَّاسِ l-nāsi
the people Noun
بِرِسَٰلَٰتِى birisālātī
with My Messages Noun
وَبِكَلَٰمِى wabikalāmī
and with My words Noun
فَخُذْ fakhudh
So take V
مَآ mā
what Noun
ءَاتَيْتُكَ ātaytuka
I have given you V
وَكُن wakun
and be V
مِّنَ mina
among Prep
ٱلشَّٰكِرِينَ l-shākirīna
the grateful Noun

He said, ‘Moses, I have raised you above other people by [giving you] My messages and speaking to you: hold on to what I have given you; be one of those who give thanks.’

قَالَ یَـٰمُوسَىٰۤ إِنِّی ٱصۡطَفَیۡتُكَ عَلَى ٱلنَّاسِ بِرِسَـٰلَـٰتِی وَبِكَلَـٰمِی فَخُذۡ مَاۤ ءَاتَیۡتُكَ وَكُن مِّنَ ٱلشَّـٰكِرِینَ ۝١٤٤

qāla yāmūsā innī iṣ'ṭafaytuka ʿalā l-nāsi birisālātī wabikalāmī fakhudh mā ātaytuka wakun mina l-shākirīn
