فَكَیۡفَ كَانَ عَذَابِی وَنُذُرِ ٢١
fakayfa kāna ʿadhābī wanudhur
How [terrible] was My punishment and [the fulfilment of] My warnings
Then how terrible was My punishment and My warnings?
So how dreodful have been My torment and My warning
How was then My punishment and My commination
And My suffering and warnings were fulfilled!
How terrible were My punishment and warnings!

So see how (severe) was My punishment and (how true) My warnings
Behold how (terrible) was My punishment and (how true) My warning
How then were My chastisement and My warnings
So, how were My punishment and My warnings?
What a truthful warning and what a sever punishment
Yes, how was My penalty and My warning
So how were My punishment and My warnings!

And certainly We have made the Qur’an easy to remember, but is there any one who will mind
