Safi Kaskas 2024

بَلۡ عَجِبُوۤا۟ أَن جَاۤءَهُم مُّنذِرࣱ مِّنۡهُمۡ فَقَالَ ٱلۡكَـٰفِرُونَ هَـٰذَا شَیۡءٌ عَجِیبٌ ۝٢

Safi Kaskas 2024

They marveled that someone from among their midst has come to them with a warning. The unbelievers say, “This is an amazing thing.

bal ʿajibū an jāahum mundhirun min'hum faqāla l-kāfirūna hādhā shayon ʿajību

50:3

أَءِذَا مِتۡنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَابࣰاۖ ذَ ٰلِكَ رَجۡعُۢ بَعِیدࣱ ۝٣

Safi Kaskas 2024

Once We have died and become dust? That is a most unlikely return."

a-idhā mit'nā wakunnā turāban dhālika rajʿun baʿīdu

50:4

قَدۡ عَلِمۡنَا مَا تَنقُصُ ٱلۡأَرۡضُ مِنۡهُمۡۖ وَعِندَنَا كِتَـٰبٌ حَفِیظُۢ ۝٤

Safi Kaskas 2024

We know how many of them the Earth consumes, and We keep a comprehensive record [about each one of them].

qad ʿalim'nā mā tanquṣu l-arḍu min'hum waʿindanā kitābun ḥafīẓu

50:5

بَلۡ كَذَّبُوا۟ بِٱلۡحَقِّ لَمَّا جَاۤءَهُمۡ فَهُمۡ فِیۤ أَمۡرࣲ مَّرِیجٍ ۝٥

Safi Kaskas 2024

But when the Truth came to them, they denied it; they are in a state of confusion.

bal kadhabū bil-ḥaqi lammā jāahum fahum fī amrin marīji

50:6

أَفَلَمۡ یَنظُرُوۤا۟ إِلَى ٱلسَّمَاۤءِ فَوۡقَهُمۡ كَیۡفَ بَنَیۡنَـٰهَا وَزَیَّنَّـٰهَا وَمَا لَهَا مِن فُرُوجࣲ ۝٦

Safi Kaskas 2024

Have they not looked at the sky above them, how We structured it and beautified it with all its gateways?

afalam yanẓurū ilā l-samāi fawqahum kayfa banaynāhā wazayyannāhā wamā lahā min furūji

50:7

وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ مَدَدۡنَـٰهَا وَأَلۡقَیۡنَا فِیهَا رَوَ ٰسِیَ وَأَنۢبَتۡنَا فِیهَا مِن كُلِّ زَوۡجِۭ بَهِیجࣲ ۝٧

And the Earth, how We spread it out and placed on it firm mountains, and made every beautiful pair of plants grow in it

wal-arḍa madadnāhā wa-alqaynā fīhā rawāsiya wa-anbatnā fīhā min kulli zawjin bahīji

50:8

تَبۡصِرَةࣰ وَذِكۡرَىٰ لِكُلِّ عَبۡدࣲ مُّنِیبࣲ ۝٨

Safi Kaskas 2024

This is an insight and a reminder to every worshiper who willingly turns to God.

tabṣiratan wadhik'rā likulli ʿabdin munībi

50:9

وَنَزَّلۡنَا مِنَ ٱلسَّمَاۤءِ مَاۤءࣰ مُّبَـٰرَكࣰا فَأَنۢبَتۡنَا بِهِۦ جَنَّـٰتࣲ وَحَبَّ ٱلۡحَصِیدِ ۝٩

Safi Kaskas 2024

And We sent down blessed rain from the sky and grew gardens and grain to harvest.

wanazzalnā mina l-samāi māan mubārakan fa-anbatnā bihi jannātin waḥabba l-ḥaṣīd

50:10

وَٱلنَّخۡلَ بَاسِقَـٰتࣲ لَّهَا طَلۡعࣱ نَّضِیدࣱ ۝١٠

Safi Kaskas 2024

And soaring palm trees, with clustered dates

wal-nakhla bāsiqātin lahā ṭalʿun naḍīdu

50:11

رِّزۡقࣰا لِّلۡعِبَادِۖ وَأَحۡیَیۡنَا بِهِۦ بَلۡدَةࣰ مَّیۡتࣰاۚ كَذَ ٰلِكَ ٱلۡخُرُوجُ ۝١١

Safi Kaskas 2024

as provision for the worshipers. By it [the rain] We gave life to a dead town. This is how the emergence [from the graves] will take place.

riz'qan lil'ʿibādi wa-aḥyaynā bihi baldatan maytan kadhālika l-khurūj

50:12

كَذَّبَتۡ قَبۡلَهُمۡ قَوۡمُ نُوحࣲ وَأَصۡحَـٰبُ ٱلرَّسِّ وَثَمُودُ ۝١٢

Safi Kaskas 2024

Before them the people of Noah denied the truth, and so did the dwellers of Rass, Thamud

kadhabat qablahum qawmu nūḥin wa-aṣḥābu l-rasi wathamūd

50:13

وَعَادࣱ وَفِرۡعَوۡنُ وَإِخۡوَ ٰنُ لُوطࣲ ۝١٣

Safi Kaskas 2024

Aad, Pharaoh and the brothers of Lot,

waʿādun wafir'ʿawnu wa-ikh'wānu lūṭi

50:14

وَأَصۡحَـٰبُ ٱلۡأَیۡكَةِ وَقَوۡمُ تُبَّعࣲۚ كُلࣱّ كَذَّبَ ٱلرُّسُلَ فَحَقَّ وَعِیدِ ۝١٤

Safi Kaskas 2024

the woods-dwellers and the people of Tubba‘. All of these people rejected their messengers, so My threat was justly fulfilled.

wa-aṣḥābu l-aykati waqawmu tubbaʿin kullun kadhaba l-rusula faḥaqqa waʿīd

50:15

أَفَعَیِینَا بِٱلۡخَلۡقِ ٱلۡأَوَّلِۚ بَلۡ هُمۡ فِی لَبۡسࣲ مِّنۡ خَلۡقࣲ جَدِیدࣲ ۝١٥

Safi Kaskas 2024

Were We exhausted by the first creation? But they are dubious of a new creation.

afaʿayīnā bil-khalqi l-awali bal hum fī labsin min khalqin jadīdi

50:16

وَلَقَدۡ خَلَقۡنَا ٱلۡإِنسَـٰنَ وَنَعۡلَمُ مَا تُوَسۡوِسُ بِهِۦ نَفۡسُهُۥۖ وَنَحۡنُ أَقۡرَبُ إِلَیۡهِ مِنۡ حَبۡلِ ٱلۡوَرِیدِ ۝١٦

We have created man and We know what his inner soul is whispering. We are closer to him than his jugular vein

walaqad khalaqnā l-insāna wanaʿlamu mā tuwaswisu bihi nafsuhu wanaḥnu aqrabu ilayhi min ḥabli l-warīd

50:17

إِذۡ یَتَلَقَّى ٱلۡمُتَلَقِّیَانِ عَنِ ٱلۡیَمِینِ وَعَنِ ٱلشِّمَالِ قَعِیدࣱ ۝١٧

Safi Kaskas 2024

as he receives the two recording agents, seated one on the right and one on the left.

idh yatalaqqā l-mutalaqiyāni ʿani l-yamīni waʿani l-shimāli qaʿīdu

50:18

مَّا یَلۡفِظُ مِن قَوۡلٍ إِلَّا لَدَیۡهِ رَقِیبٌ عَتِیدࣱ ۝١٨

Safi Kaskas 2024

He does not utter any word, without a vigilant observer present with him.

mā yalfiẓu min qawlin illā ladayhi raqībun ʿatīdu

50:19

وَجَاۤءَتۡ سَكۡرَةُ ٱلۡمَوۡتِ بِٱلۡحَقِّۖ ذَ ٰلِكَ مَا كُنتَ مِنۡهُ تَحِیدُ ۝١٩

Safi Kaskas 2024

Eventually, the trance of death will come with the Truth. This is what you were trying to evade.

wajāat sakratu l-mawti bil-ḥaqi dhālika mā kunta min'hu taḥīd

50:20

وَنُفِخَ فِی ٱلصُّورِۚ ذَ ٰلِكَ یَوۡمُ ٱلۡوَعِیدِ ۝٢٠

Safi Kaskas 2024

The Horn will be blown. This is the Promised Day.

wanufikha fī l-ṣūri dhālika yawmu l-waʿīd

50:21

وَجَاۤءَتۡ كُلُّ نَفۡسࣲ مَّعَهَا سَاۤىِٕقࣱ وَشَهِیدࣱ ۝٢١

Safi Kaskas 2024

Every soul will come, with it a driver and a witness.

wajāat kullu nafsin maʿahā sāiqun washahīdu

50:22

لَّقَدۡ كُنتَ فِی غَفۡلَةࣲ مِّنۡ هَـٰذَا فَكَشَفۡنَا عَنكَ غِطَاۤءَكَ فَبَصَرُكَ ٱلۡیَوۡمَ حَدِیدࣱ ۝٢٢

Safi Kaskas 2024

“You did not pay much attention to this day, but as We lifted your veil from you, your vision today is keen.”

laqad kunta fī ghaflatin min hādhā fakashafnā ʿanka ghiṭāaka fabaṣaruka l-yawma ḥadīdu

50:23

وَقَالَ قَرِینُهُۥ هَـٰذَا مَا لَدَیَّ عَتِیدٌ ۝٢٣

Safi Kaskas 2024

His inseparable companion will say, "This is what I have recorded."

waqāla qarīnuhu hādhā mā ladayya ʿatīdu

50:24

أَلۡقِیَا فِی جَهَنَّمَ كُلَّ كَفَّارٍ عَنِیدࣲ ۝٢٤

Safi Kaskas 2024

[God will say], "Cast into Hell everyone who stubbornly denied the truth,

alqiyā fī jahannama kulla kaffārin ʿanīdi

50:25

مَّنَّاعࣲ لِّلۡخَیۡرِ مُعۡتَدࣲ مُّرِیبٍ ۝٢٥

Safi Kaskas 2024

everyone who prevented good from reaching others, aggressor, who caused others to doubt,

mannāʿin lil'khayri muʿ'tadin murībi

50:26

ٱلَّذِی جَعَلَ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ إِلَـٰهًا ءَاخَرَ فَأَلۡقِیَاهُ فِی ٱلۡعَذَابِ ٱلشَّدِیدِ ۝٢٦

Safi Kaskas 2024

who made other gods as equal with God; then cast him into severe punishment."

alladhī jaʿala maʿa l-lahi ilāhan ākhara fa-alqiyāhu fī l-ʿadhābi l-shadīd

50:27

۞ قَالَ قَرِینُهُۥ رَبَّنَا مَاۤ أَطۡغَیۡتُهُۥ وَلَـٰكِن كَانَ فِی ضَلَـٰلِۭ بَعِیدࣲ ۝٢٧

Safi Kaskas 2024

His [evil] companion will say, "Our Lord, I did not make him transgress, but he [himself], was extremely lost."

qāla qarīnuhu rabbanā mā aṭghaytuhu walākin kāna fī ḍalālin baʿīdi

50:28

قَالَ لَا تَخۡتَصِمُوا۟ لَدَیَّ وَقَدۡ قَدَّمۡتُ إِلَیۡكُم بِٱلۡوَعِیدِ ۝٢٨

Safi Kaskas 2024

[God] will say, "Do not feud in My presence, when I had warned you in advance.

qāla lā takhtaṣimū ladayya waqad qaddamtu ilaykum bil-waʿīd

50:29

مَا یُبَدَّلُ ٱلۡقَوۡلُ لَدَیَّ وَمَاۤ أَنَا۠ بِظَلَّـٰمࣲ لِّلۡعَبِیدِ ۝٢٩

Safi Kaskas 2024

My judgment, once given, is not subject to change and I do not wrong My servants."

mā yubaddalu l-qawlu ladayya wamā anā biẓallāmin lil'ʿabīd

50:30

یَوۡمَ نَقُولُ لِجَهَنَّمَ هَلِ ٱمۡتَلَأۡتِ وَتَقُولُ هَلۡ مِن مَّزِیدࣲ ۝٣٠

Safi Kaskas 2024

On the Day We will say to Hell, "Are you full?" And it will say, "Are there some more?"

yawma naqūlu lijahannama hali im'talati wataqūlu hal min mazīdi

50:31

وَأُزۡلِفَتِ ٱلۡجَنَّةُ لِلۡمُتَّقِینَ غَیۡرَ بَعِیدٍ ۝٣١

Safi Kaskas 2024

And Paradise will be brought near to those who were ever mindful of God, it will not be far

wa-uz'lifati l-janatu lil'muttaqīna ghayra baʿīdi

50:32

هَـٰذَا مَا تُوعَدُونَ لِكُلِّ أَوَّابٍ حَفِیظࣲ ۝٣٢

Safi Kaskas 2024

[It will be said], "This is what you were promised. for every repentant, keeper of his covenant with God

hādhā mā tūʿadūna likulli awwābin ḥafīẓi

50:33

مَّنۡ خَشِیَ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنَ بِٱلۡغَیۡبِ وَجَاۤءَ بِقَلۡبࣲ مُّنِیبٍ ۝٣٣

Safi Kaskas 2024

who feared the Merciful although He was beyond his perception and came with a repenting heart.

man khashiya l-raḥmāna bil-ghaybi wajāa biqalbin munībi

50:34

ٱدۡخُلُوهَا بِسَلَـٰمࣲۖ ذَ ٰلِكَ یَوۡمُ ٱلۡخُلُودِ ۝٣٤

Safi Kaskas 2024

Enter it in peace. This is the Day of Eternity."

ud'khulūhā bisalāmin dhālika yawmu l-khulūd

50:35

لَهُم مَّا یَشَاۤءُونَ فِیهَا وَلَدَیۡنَا مَزِیدࣱ ۝٣٥

Safi Kaskas 2024

Whatever they want there, they will have and with Us is still more.

lahum mā yashāūna fīhā waladaynā mazīdu

50:36

وَكَمۡ أَهۡلَكۡنَا قَبۡلَهُم مِّن قَرۡنٍ هُمۡ أَشَدُّ مِنۡهُم بَطۡشࣰا فَنَقَّبُوا۟ فِی ٱلۡبِلَـٰدِ هَلۡ مِن مَّحِیصٍ ۝٣٦

Safi Kaskas 2024

How many a generation We destroyed before them, who were more powerful and had searched every land. Was there any escape?

wakam ahlaknā qablahum min qarnin hum ashaddu min'hum baṭshan fanaqqabū fī l-bilādi hal min maḥīṣi

50:37

إِنَّ فِی ذَ ٰلِكَ لَذِكۡرَىٰ لِمَن كَانَ لَهُۥ قَلۡبٌ أَوۡ أَلۡقَى ٱلسَّمۡعَ وَهُوَ شَهِیدࣱ ۝٣٧

Safi Kaskas 2024

There is a reminder in this for whoever has a heart or cared to listen and witness.

inna fī dhālika ladhik'rā liman kāna lahu qalbun aw alqā l-samʿa wahuwa shahīdu

50:38

وَلَقَدۡ خَلَقۡنَا ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ وَمَا بَیۡنَهُمَا فِی سِتَّةِ أَیَّامࣲ وَمَا مَسَّنَا مِن لُّغُوبࣲ ۝٣٨

Safi Kaskas 2024

And We did create the heavens and Earth and everything between them in six days, and We were not the least weary.

walaqad khalaqnā l-samāwāti wal-arḍa wamā baynahumā fī sittati ayyāmin wamā massanā min lughūbi

50:39

فَٱصۡبِرۡ عَلَىٰ مَا یَقُولُونَ وَسَبِّحۡ بِحَمۡدِ رَبِّكَ قَبۡلَ طُلُوعِ ٱلشَّمۡسِ وَقَبۡلَ ٱلۡغُرُوبِ ۝٣٩

Safi Kaskas 2024

So [Prophet] endure what they say and praise your Lord’s limitless glory before the rising of the sun and before its setting,

fa-iṣ'bir ʿalā mā yaqūlūna wasabbiḥ biḥamdi rabbika qabla ṭulūʿi l-shamsi waqabla l-ghurūb

50:40

وَمِنَ ٱلَّیۡلِ فَسَبِّحۡهُ وَأَدۡبَـٰرَ ٱلسُّجُودِ ۝٤٠

Safi Kaskas 2024

and glorify Him part of the night and after prostration.

wamina al-layli fasabbiḥ'hu wa-adbāra l-sujūd

50:41

وَٱسۡتَمِعۡ یَوۡمَ یُنَادِ ٱلۡمُنَادِ مِن مَّكَانࣲ قَرِیبࣲ ۝٤١

Safi Kaskas 2024

Listen for the Day when the Caller will call out from a place that is near.

wa-is'tamiʿ yawma yunādi l-munādi min makānin qarībi

50:42

یَوۡمَ یَسۡمَعُونَ ٱلصَّیۡحَةَ بِٱلۡحَقِّۚ ذَ ٰلِكَ یَوۡمُ ٱلۡخُرُوجِ ۝٤٢

Safi Kaskas 2024

The Day they will hear the blast in all Truth, that is the Day of Emergence [from the graves].

yawma yasmaʿūna l-ṣayḥata bil-ḥaqi dhālika yawmu l-khurūj

50:43

إِنَّا نَحۡنُ نُحۡیِۦ وَنُمِیتُ وَإِلَیۡنَا ٱلۡمَصِیرُ ۝٤٣

Safi Kaskas 2024

It is We who give life and cause death, and to Us is their final destination

innā naḥnu nuḥ'yī wanumītu wa-ilaynā l-maṣīr

50:44

یَوۡمَ تَشَقَّقُ ٱلۡأَرۡضُ عَنۡهُمۡ سِرَاعࣰاۚ ذَ ٰلِكَ حَشۡرٌ عَلَیۡنَا یَسِیرࣱ ۝٤٤

Safi Kaskas 2024

The Day when the Earth cracks as they emerge rapidly; That is an easy gathering for Us.

yawma tashaqqaqu l-arḍu ʿanhum sirāʿan dhālika ḥashrun ʿalaynā yasīru

50:45

نَّحۡنُ أَعۡلَمُ بِمَا یَقُولُونَۖ وَمَاۤ أَنتَ عَلَیۡهِم بِجَبَّارࣲۖ فَذَكِّرۡ بِٱلۡقُرۡءَانِ مَن یَخَافُ وَعِیدِ ۝٤٥

Safi Kaskas 2024

We know best what they say, and you are not there to force them. So remind with the Quran those who fear My warning.

naḥnu aʿlamu bimā yaqūlūna wamā anta ʿalayhim bijabbārin fadhakkir bil-qur'āni man yakhāfu waʿīd
