كَمَا kamā

يَعْرِفُونَ yaʿrifūna
they recognize V
أَبْنَآءَهُمْ abnāahum
their sons Noun
وَإِنَّ wa-inna
And indeed Prep
فَرِيقًا farīqan
a group Noun
مِّنْهُمْ min'hum
of them Prep
لَيَكْتُمُونَ layaktumūna
surely they conceal V
ٱلْحَقَّ l-ḥaqa
the Truth Noun
وَهُمْ wahum
while they Noun
يَعْلَمُونَ yaʿlamūna
know V

Those We gave Scripture know it as well as they know their own sons, but some of them hide the truth that they know

ٱلَّذِینَ ءَاتَیۡنَـٰهُمُ ٱلۡكِتَـٰبَ یَعۡرِفُونَهُۥ كَمَا یَعۡرِفُونَ أَبۡنَاۤءَهُمۡۖ وَإِنَّ فَرِیقࣰا مِّنۡهُمۡ لَیَكۡتُمُونَ ٱلۡحَقَّ وَهُمۡ یَعۡلَمُونَ ۝١٤٦

alladhīna ātaynāhumu l-kitāba yaʿrifūnahu kamā yaʿrifūna abnāahum wa-inna farīqan min'hum layaktumūna l-ḥaqa wahum yaʿlamūn
