أَفْرِغْ afrigh

عَلَيْنَا ʿalaynā

صَبْرًا ṣabran

وَثَبِّتْ wathabbit
and make firm V
أَقْدَامَنَا aqdāmanā
our feet Noun
وَٱنصُرْنَا wa-unṣur'nā
and help us V
عَلَى ʿalā

ٱلْقَوْمِ l-qawmi
the people Noun
ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ l-kāfirīna
(who are) disbelieving Noun

And when they met Goliath and his warriors, they said, ‘Our Lord, pour patience on us, make us stand firm, and help us against the disbelievers,’

وَلَمَّا بَرَزُوا۟ لِجَالُوتَ وَجُنُودِهِۦ قَالُوا۟ رَبَّنَاۤ أَفۡرِغۡ عَلَیۡنَا صَبۡرࣰا وَثَبِّتۡ أَقۡدَامَنَا وَٱنصُرۡنَا عَلَى ٱلۡقَوۡمِ ٱلۡكَـٰفِرِینَ ۝٢٥٠

walammā barazū lijālūta wajunūdihi qālū rabbanā afrigh ʿalaynā ṣabran wathabbit aqdāmanā wa-unṣur'nā ʿalā l-qawmi l-kāfirīn
