The Family of Imran, The House of Imran 3:23

ٱللَّهِ l-lahi
(of) Allah Noun
لِيَحْكُمَ liyaḥkuma
that (it should) arbitrate V
بَيْنَهُمْ baynahum
between them Noun
ثُمَّ thumma
then Prep
يَتَوَلَّىٰ yatawallā
turns away V
فَرِيقٌ farīqun
a party Noun
مِّنْهُمْ min'hum

وَهُم wahum
and they (are) Noun
مُّعْرِضُونَ muʿ'riḍūna
those who are averse Noun

Have you considered those who were given a share of the Scripture? When they are asked to accept judgement from God’s Scripture, some of them turn their backs and walk away, all because they declare

أَلَمۡ تَرَ إِلَى ٱلَّذِینَ أُوتُوا۟ نَصِیبࣰا مِّنَ ٱلۡكِتَـٰبِ یُدۡعَوۡنَ إِلَىٰ كِتَـٰبِ ٱللَّهِ لِیَحۡكُمَ بَیۡنَهُمۡ ثُمَّ یَتَوَلَّىٰ فَرِیقࣱ مِّنۡهُمۡ وَهُم مُّعۡرِضُونَ ۝٢٣

alam tara ilā alladhīna ūtū naṣīban mina l-kitābi yud'ʿawna ilā kitābi l-lahi liyaḥkuma baynahum thumma yatawallā farīqun min'hum wahum muʿ'riḍūn
