وَصَّيْنَا waṣṣaynā
We have instructed V
ٱلَّذِينَ alladhīna

أُوتُوا۟ ūtū
were given V
ٱلْكِتَٰبَ l-kitāba
the Book Noun
مِن min
from Prep
قَبْلِكُمْ qablikum
before you Noun
وَإِيَّاكُمْ wa-iyyākum
and yourselves Noun
أَنِ ani
that Prep
ٱتَّقُوا۟ ittaqū
you fear V
ٱللَّهَ l-laha

وَإِن wa-in
But if Prep
تَكْفُرُوا۟ takfurū
you disbelieve V
فَإِنَّ fa-inna
then indeed Prep
لِلَّهِ lillahi
for Allah Noun

ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ l-samāwāti
the heavens Noun
وَمَا wamā
and whatever Noun

ٱلْأَرْضِ l-arḍi

وَكَانَ wakāna
And is V
ٱللَّهُ l-lahu
Allah Noun
غَنِيًّا ghaniyyan
Free of need Noun
حَمِيدًا ḥamīdan
Praiseworthy Noun

Everything in the heavens and the earth belongs to God. We have commanded those who were given the Scripture before you, and We command you, to be mindful of God. Even if you do ignore Him, everything in the heavens and the earth belongs to Him, and He is self-sufficient, worthy of all praise

Arabic Text

وَلِلَّهِ مَا فِی ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰتِ وَمَا فِی ٱلۡأَرۡضِۗ وَلَقَدۡ وَصَّیۡنَا ٱلَّذِینَ أُوتُوا۟ ٱلۡكِتَـٰبَ مِن قَبۡلِكُمۡ وَإِیَّاكُمۡ أَنِ ٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَۚ وَإِن تَكۡفُرُوا۟ فَإِنَّ لِلَّهِ مَا فِی ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰتِ وَمَا فِی ٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ غَنِیًّا حَمِیدࣰا ۝١٣١

walillahi mā fī l-samāwāti wamā fī l-arḍi walaqad waṣṣaynā alladhīna ūtū l-kitāba min qablikum wa-iyyākum ani ittaqū l-laha wa-in takfurū fa-inna lillahi mā fī l-samāwāti wamā fī l-arḍi wakāna l-lahu ghaniyyan ḥamīda
