We sent a group of jinn to you [Prophet] to listen to the Quran. When they heard it, they said to one another, ‘Be quiet!’ Then when it was finished they turned to their community and gave them warning

وَإِذۡ صَرَفۡنَاۤ إِلَیۡكَ نَفَرࣰا مِّنَ ٱلۡجِنِّ یَسۡتَمِعُونَ ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ فَلَمَّا حَضَرُوهُ قَالُوۤا۟ أَنصِتُوا۟ۖ فَلَمَّا قُضِیَ وَلَّوۡا۟ إِلَىٰ قَوۡمِهِم مُّنذِرِینَ ۝٢٩

wa-idh ṣarafnā ilayka nafaran mina l-jini yastamiʿūna l-qur'āna falammā ḥaḍarūhu qālū anṣitū falammā quḍiya wallaw ilā qawmihim mundhirīn
