The Heights, The Elevated Places 7:47

صُرِفَتْ ṣurifat

أَبْصَٰرُهُمْ abṣāruhum

أَصْحَٰبِ aṣḥābi

ٱلنَّارِ l-nāri
(of) the Fire Noun
قَالُوا۟ qālū
they (will) say V
رَبَّنَا rabbanā
Our Lord Noun
لَا lā

تَجْعَلْنَا tajʿalnā
place us V
مَعَ maʿa
with Noun
ٱلْقَوْمِ l-qawmi
the people Noun
ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ l-ẓālimīna
the wrongdoers Noun

and when their glance falls upon the people of the Fire, they will say, ‘Our Lord, do not let us join the evildoers!’

۞ وَإِذَا صُرِفَتۡ أَبۡصَـٰرُهُمۡ تِلۡقَاۤءَ أَصۡحَـٰبِ ٱلنَّارِ قَالُوا۟ رَبَّنَا لَا تَجۡعَلۡنَا مَعَ ٱلۡقَوۡمِ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِینَ ۝٤٧

wa-idhā ṣurifat abṣāruhum til'qāa aṣḥābi l-nāri qālū rabbanā lā tajʿalnā maʿa l-qawmi l-ẓālimīn
