وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا هِيَهْ
Wama adraka ma hiyah
what will explain to you what that is?––
and what will make you know what it (Hawiyah) is?
And what shall make thee know that which she is
How will you comprehend what that is
Do you know what that is?
And what will convey to you what that is?
And what will show you what it is
What enables you to perceive what it is
Ah! what should make you know what that (abyss) is
And what shall teach thee what is the Pit
And how would you know what it is?
You are asking what is awaiting him in the Hell
And what will explain to you what this is
And what can make yousg realize what it is?
And who shall make thee know what it is?
And what have you understood, what the one that abases is
And what do you know about what she is?
What shall make thee to understand how frightful the pit of hell is
And who shall convey to you what she is?
What shall let you know what the Plunging is
And who shall teach thee what the pit (El-Hawiya) is
And what made you realise what it is, that one
What will cause thee to recognize what it is?
What will make you know what that is?
and what will explain to you, what it (Haviah) is
And what do you know what that is
And what will make thee know what that is
And what will make you realize what the (deep pit of hell) is?
And what do you understand what it [the Abyss] is
And what have you made out what that (Hawiya) is
And how would you know what it i
And how would you know what it is?
And how would you know what it is?
And what made you know/informed you what it is (E)
And what could make thee conceive what that [abyss] will be
And what makes you realize what it is
Ah, what will convey unto thee what she is!
Would that you knew what hawiya his
And what may let you know what that (Abyss) is
What would make you aware of what ‘Abyss’ might be?
And what do you think is (the content of) the abysmal pit
And what will make you know exactly what the Abyss is?
And you just do not know what it is like in the abyss
What can explain what it looks like to you?
And what will make you realize what that is?
And how do you know what it is?
Would that you knew what this is like
Do you know what it is
And what will convey to you what that is?
And what will convey to you what that is?
And what cognizes you, what it is?
Would that you knew what this is like
Ah, what will convey to you what that is
