The Pen 68:20

فَأَصۡبَحَتۡ كَٱلصَّرِیمِ ۝٢٠
fa-aṣbaḥat kal-ṣarīm
62 Translations
and by morning it was stripped bare, a desolate land
so the garden became black by the morning, like a pitch dark night (completely ruined).
Then in the morning it became as though it had been reaped
So by the morning it seemed as though picked clean
And it (the garden) dried and blackened!
and in the morning it was like burnt land stripped bare.
So by the dawn it was like a harvested field
So by morning it had become bleak
So that this (garden) became as it were a dark desolate spot whose (all) fruit had been already plucked
and in the morning it was as if it were a garden plucked
so it became like a totally picked field.
In the morning all was destroyed
So it became, by the morning, like a dark and desolate spot
and in the morning it was as though harvested.
and on the morrow it was as one the fruit of which is cut
