خُذِ ٱلۡعَفۡوَ وَأۡمُرۡ بِٱلۡعُرۡفِ وَأَعۡرِضۡ عَنِ ٱلۡجَـٰهِلِینَ ١٩٩
khudhi l-ʿafwa wamur bil-ʿur'fi wa-aʿriḍ ʿani l-jāhilīn
Be tolerant and command what is right: pay no attention to foolish people
Show forgiveness, enjoin the good, and turn away from the ignorant.
Use thou indulgence and enjoin seemliness and turn away from the ignorant
Cultivate tolerance, enjoin justice, and avoid the fools
Be forgiving, judge with positive and useful things, and turn away from the ignorant!
Make allowances for people, command what is right, and turn away from the ignorant.
Adopt [a policy of] excusing [the faults of people], bid what is right, and turn away from the ignorant
(Even so, O Messenger) adopt the way of forbearance and tolerance, and enjoin what is good and right, and withdraw from the ignorant ones (do not care what they say and do)
Take to forgiveness and ever forbear and enjoin (the doing of) good and turn away from (those who intentionally want to remain) ignorant
Take the abundance, and bid to what is honourable, and turn away from the ignorant

And O dear Prophet (Mohammed - peace and blessings be upon him) adopt forgiveness, and enjoin virtue, and turn away from the ignorant
Take what is easy and ready and exhort onto kindness and turn away from the ignorant ones.
Do thou ever forebear, O Prophet! and enjoin kindness, and turn away from the ignorant
Hold to forgiveness, and command what is kind, and shun the ignorant
Accept the easing, order with fine jurisprudence, and avoid the ignorant
Make the best of things; and enjoin what is just, and withdraw from the ignorant
