Yet here you are, killing one another and driving some of your own people from their homes, helping one another in sin and aggression against them. If they come to you as captives, you still pay to set them free, although you had no right to drive them out. So do you believe in some parts of the Scripture and not in others? The punishment for those of you who do this will be nothing but disgrace in this life, and on the Day of Resurrection they will be condemned to the harshest torment: God is not unaware of what you do

you ransom them	تُفَٰدُوهُمْ (tufādūhum)	ف د ي	Verb V
while it	وَهُوَ (wahuwa)	—	Noun Noun
(was) forbidden	مُحَرَّمٌ (muḥarramun)	ح ر م	Noun Noun
to you	عَلَيْكُمْ (ʿalaykum)	ع ل ي	Prep. Prep
their eviction	إِخْرَاجُهُمْ (ikh'rājuhum)	خ ر ج	Noun Noun
So do you believe	أَفَتُؤْمِنُونَ (afatu'minūna)	أ م ن	Verb V
in part (of)	بِبَعْضِ (bibaʿḍi)	ب ع ض	Noun Noun
the Book	ٱلْكِتَٰبِ (l-kitābi)	ك ت ب	Noun Noun
and disbelieve	وَتَكْفُرُونَ (watakfurūna)	ك ف ر	Verb V
in part	بِبَعْضٍ (bibaʿḍin)	ب ع ض	Noun Noun
Then what	فَمَا (famā)	م ا	Prep. Prep
(should be the) recompense	جَزَآءُ (jazāu)	ج ز ي	Noun Noun

(the) most severe	أَشَدِّ (ashaddi)	ش د د	Noun Noun
punishment	ٱلْعَذَابِ (l-ʿadhābi)	ع ذ ب	Noun Noun
And not	وَمَا (wamā)	م ا	Prep. Prep
(is) Allah	ٱللَّهُ (l-lahu)	أ ل ه	Noun Noun
unaware	بِغَٰفِلٍ (bighāfilin)	غ ف ل	Noun Noun
of what	عَمَّا (ʿammā)	ع ن	Prep. Prep
you do	تَعْمَلُونَ (taʿmalūna)	ع م ل	Verb V
