قَالُوۤا۟ أَجِئۡتَنَا بِٱلۡحَقِّ أَمۡ أَنتَ مِنَ ٱللَّـٰعِبِینَ ٥٥
qālū aji'tanā bil-ḥaqi am anta mina l-lāʿibīn
They asked, ‘Have you brought us the truth or are you just playing about?’
They said: “Have you brought us the truth, or are you one of those who play?”
They said: hast thou come unto us with the truth, or art thou of those who sport
They said: "Are you speaking in earnest, or only jesting?"
They said, “Have you come to us as the Truth or are you playing us?”
They said, ´Have you brought us the truth or are you playing games?´
They said, ‘Are you telling the truth, or are you [just] kidding?’
They asked: "Is it the truth that you are proclaiming to us or are you jesting?"
They said, `Is it (really) the truth that you have brought us or are you of those playing a joke (on us)?
They said, 'What, hast thou come to us with the truth, or art thou one of those that play?
They said: “Did you bring us the truth or are you playing around?”
They said: “Are you serious or you are just kidding?”
They said, “Have you brought us the truth, or are you one of those who mock?
They said, “Have you come to us with the truth, or are you one of the jesters?”
They said, 'Dost thou come to us with the truth, or art thou but of those who play?
They said, "Have you brought the Truth to us, or are you just making fun?"
They said, “Have you come to us with the truth or are you one of those who sport?”
They said, dost thou seriously tell us the truth, or art thou one who jestest with us
They said, "Do you come to us with the truth, or are you but of those who jest?"
They said: 'Is it the truth you have brought us, or are you one of those that play?
They said, "Hast thou come unto us in earnest? or art thou of those who jest?"
They said: “Have you come to us with Al-Haqq or you are out of those who jest and mock as sport?”
They said: Hadst thou drawn near The Truth or art thou of the ones who play?
They said, “Have you brought us the truth or are you one of those who joke?”
They asked, "Have you brought us the Truth or are you one of the triflers?"
They said: "Are you expressing your true ideas before us or are you jesting?"
They said: Hast thou brought us the truth, or art thou of the jesters
He said, "Indeed you are and your fathers were in clear error."
They said, "Are you telling us the truth, or just making fun of us?"
They said: ‘Have you (alone) brought the truth, or are you (just) one of the entertainers?
They said: "Have you come to us with the truth, or are you simply playing"
They said: "Have you come to us with the truth, or are you simply playing?"
They said: "Have you come to us with the truth, or are you simply playing?"
They said: "Did you come to us with the truth , or you are from the playing amusing ?"
They asked: “Hast thou come unto us [with this claim] in all earnest - or art thou one of those jesters?”
They said, "Have you come to us with the Truth, or are you of the ones that play?"
They said: Bringest thou unto us the truth, or art thou some jester
They exclaimed, "Have you brought the Truth or are you joking?"
They said, .Did you come to us with truth or are you one of the triflers?
They asked: "Is it the truth that you are telling us, or are you one of those who likes to fool around?"
They said, "Are you expressing your real views or are you just kidding?"
They said: ‘Have you brought the truth, or are you one of those who do not behave seriously?’
"Have you brought us the truth," they asked, "or are you one of those who make this the object of a joke"
They replied, “Have you come with the truth or are you joking?”
They asked, “Have you come to us with the truth, or is this a joke?”
They said: did you bring us the truth or are you messing about?
Is it the truth that you are preaching,‘ they said, ‘or is this but a jest?‘
They said, "Are you telling us the truth, or are you playing?"
They said, "Have you come to us with the Truth, or are you playing games?"
They said, “Have you come to us with the Truth, or are you playing games?”
They said, “Are you coming to us with the right, or you are among the players?”
They said: �Have you brought to us the truth, or are you one of the triflers�
They asked: 'Is it the truth you are preaching to us? Or are you one who jests?'
They said, "Are you telling us some serious truth or are you one of those jesters?"
They said: Have you brought to us the truth, or are you one of the triflers
They said, `Is it really the truth that thou hast brought us, or art thou jesting?
They said, “Have you brought us the truth, or are you among those who jest?
They said: "Have you brought us the Truth, or are you one of those who play around?"
They asked, “Did you bring us the truth, or are you merely playing?”
They said, 'Are you telling us the truth, or are you just playing?'
They said, "Have you come to us with truth, or are you of those who jest?"
They said, 'Have you come to us with the truth or are you of those who play?'
They said, "Have you brought us the Truth, or are you one of those who jest?"
