The Private Apartments, The Inner Apartments, The Chambers 49:9

oppresses V
إِحْدَىٰهُمَا iḥ'dāhumā

عَلَى ʿalā

ٱلْأُخْرَىٰ l-ukh'rā
the other Noun
فَقَٰتِلُوا۟ faqātilū
then fight V
ٱلَّتِى allatī

تَبْغِى tabghī
oppresses V
حَتَّىٰ ḥattā

تَفِىٓءَ tafīa
it returns V
إِلَىٰٓ ilā
to Prep
أَمْرِ amri

فَآءَتْ fāat

فَأَصْلِحُوا۟ fa-aṣliḥū

بَيْنَهُمَا baynahumā

بِٱلْعَدْلِ bil-ʿadli
with justice Noun
وَأَقْسِطُوٓا۟ wa-aqsiṭū
and act justly V
إِنَّ inna
Indeed Prep
ٱللَّهَ l-laha
Allah Noun
يُحِبُّ yuḥibbu
loves V
ٱلْمُقْسِطِينَ l-muq'siṭīna
those who act justly Noun

If two groups of the believers fight, you [believers] should try to reconcile them; if one of them is [clearly] oppressing the other, fight the oppressors until they submit to God’s command, then make a just and even-handed reconciliation between the two of them: God loves those who are even-handed

Arabic Text

وَإِن طَاۤىِٕفَتَانِ مِنَ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِینَ ٱقۡتَتَلُوا۟ فَأَصۡلِحُوا۟ بَیۡنَهُمَاۖ فَإِنۢ بَغَتۡ إِحۡدَىٰهُمَا عَلَى ٱلۡأُخۡرَىٰ فَقَـٰتِلُوا۟ ٱلَّتِی تَبۡغِی حَتَّىٰ تَفِیۤءَ إِلَىٰۤ أَمۡرِ ٱللَّهِۚ فَإِن فَاۤءَتۡ فَأَصۡلِحُوا۟ بَیۡنَهُمَا بِٱلۡعَدۡلِ وَأَقۡسِطُوۤا۟ۖ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ یُحِبُّ ٱلۡمُقۡسِطِینَ ۝٩

wa-in ṭāifatāni mina l-mu'minīna iq'tatalū fa-aṣliḥū baynahumā fa-in baghat iḥ'dāhumā ʿalā l-ukh'rā faqātilū allatī tabghī ḥattā tafīa ilā amri l-lahi fa-in fāat fa-aṣliḥū baynahumā bil-ʿadli wa-aqsiṭū inna l-laha yuḥibbu l-muq'siṭīn
