قَالَ أَفَتَعۡبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ مَا لَا یَنفَعُكُمۡ شَیۡءࣰا وَلَا یَضُرُّكُمۡ ٦٦
qāla afataʿbudūna min dūni l-lahi mā lā yanfaʿukum shayan walā yaḍurruku
Abraham said, ‘How can you worship what can neither benefit nor harm you, instead of God
(Abraham) said: “Do you then worship these deities besides Allah, who can neither profit you nor harm you?
He said: worship ye, then, beside Allah, that which profiteth you not at all, nor it hurteth yo
(So Abraham) said: "Then why do you worship something apart from God that cannot profit you or do you harm
(Abraham) said, “So do you worship things besides Allah who can neither give you any benefit nor any harm?”
He said, ´Do you then worship, instead of Allah, what cannot help or harm you in any way?
He said, ‘Do you then worship, besides Allah, that which cannot cause you any benefit or harm
(Abraham) said: "Then, do you worship, instead of God, that which cannot benefit you in any way, nor harm you
(Abraham) said, `Do you then worship, apart from Allah, the things which can do no good to you, (who are their worshippers), nor can do harm to (those of) you (who are their destroyers)
He said, 'What, and do you serve, apart from God, that which profits you nothing; neither hurts you
He said: “Do you serve something besides God that does not benefit you at all and it does not harm you?
Abraham said: “Why do you then worship these things (instead of God Almighty,) knowing that [they are good for nothing and] can neither profit you nor harm you?”
Abraham said, “Do you then worship, besides God, things that can neither be of any good to you nor do you harm
He said, “Do you worship, apart from Allah, what can neither benefit you in anything nor harm you?
Said he, 'Will ye then serve, beside God, what cannot profit you at all, nor harm you
He said, "What! You worship, instead of Allah, one that neither benefits you nor harms you?"
He said, “Do you then worship besides Allah something that can neither benefit you in aught nor can it harm you?
Abraham answered, do ye therefore worship, besides God, that which cannot profit you at all, neither can it hurt you
Said he, "Will you then worship, beside Allah, that which cannot profit you at all, nor harm you
He said: 'Would you then worship that, instead of Allah, which can neither help nor harm you
He said, "What! do ye then worship, instead of God, that which doth not profit you at all, nor injure you
(Ibrahim) said: “Do you then worship besides Allah that which does not benefit you to any extent and does not harm you (in any way)
He said: Worship you, then, other than God what neither profits you nor hurts you at all?
(Abraham) said, “Do you then worship, instead of Allah, things that can neither benefit you nor harm you?
At this Abraham said, "Do you then worship these deities, instead of Allah, who can neither benefit nor harm you
Abraham said: "Do you, then, worship beside Allah a thing that can neither benefit you nor hurt you
He said: Serve you then besides Allah what does you no good, nor harms you
Then they were made to hang down their heads (saying), "You surely know that they do not speak."
Abraham said, "Do you then worship, besides Allah, that which brings you no benefit at all, and no harm either?"
(Ibrahim [Abraham]) said: ‘Then do you worship apart from Allah these (idols) which can neither bring you any benefit, nor do you any harm
He said: "Do you serve besides God that which does not benefit you at all nor harm you"
He said: "Do you serve besides God that which does not benefit you at all nor harm you?"
He said: "Do you serve besides God that which does not benefit you at all nor harm you?"
He said: "Do you worship from other than God what does not benefit you a thing, and nor harm you?"
Said [Abraham]: “Do you then worship, instead of God, something that cannot benefit you in any way, nor harm you
He said, "Do you then worship, apart from Allah, that which does not profit you anything nor harms you
He said: Worship ye then instead of Allah that which cannot profit you at all, nor harm you
He said, "Do you, instead of God, worship things that can neither harm nor benefit you?"
He said, .Do you then worship, beside Allah, what does neither benefit you in the least nor harm you
‘Abraham’ said: "Do you then worship (& venerate) besides Allâh, things that can neither benefit you, nor harm you?”
He said, "Why then do you worship those besides Allah. They grant you no benefits, nor inflict any harm."
Abraham said: ‘Do you worship that, besides Allâh, which can neither profit you nor hurt you?’
"Do you worship besides Allah," ask Ibrahim, "objects neither profit you nor can do you harm,"
Ibrahim quipped, “So, why do you worship beside Allah something unable to benefit or harm you?
He rebuked ˹them˺, “Do you then worship—instead of Allah—what can neither benefit nor harm you in any way?
He said: do you then serve besides Allah what does not benefit you the least nor help you?
He said: ‘Would you then worship that, instead of God, which can neither help nor harm you
He said, "Do you then worship beside GOD what possesses no power to benefit you or harm you?
He said, "Then do you worship what does not help or harm you at all instead of God?
He said, “Then do you worship what does not help or harm you at all instead of God?
He said, “So, are you worshiping, without Allah, what is neither benefiting you a thing, nor harming you?
(Abraham) said: �Do you then worship, besides Allah, that which profits you nothing, neither hurts you
Said [Abraham]: 'Do you then worship, instead of God, something that cannot benefit or harm you in any way?
Abraham said, "Do you then worship instead of Allah that cannot benefit you or harm you?"
He said: What! do you then serve besides Allah what brings you not any benefit at all, nor does it harm you
He said, `Do you then worship, instead of ALLAH, that which cannot profit you at all, nor harm you
He said, “Do you worship, apart from God, that which benefits you not in the least, nor harms you
Ibrahim (Abraham) said: "Then do you worship, besides Allah, things that can neither be of any benefit to you nor do you any harm
He countered, “Do you then worship, instead of God, things that can neither benefit you nor harm you?
He said, 'Do you worship, instead of God, what can neither benefit you in anything, nor harm you
He said, "Then do you worship instead of Allah that which does not benefit you at all or harm you
He said, 'Will you then serve besides God what cannot profit you anything nor harm you?
(Abraham) said, "Do ye then worship, besides God, things that can neither be of any good to you nor do you harm
