The Believers 23:3

وَٱلَّذِینَ هُمۡ عَنِ ٱللَّغۡوِ مُعۡرِضُونَ ۝٣
wa-alladhīna hum ʿani l-laghwi muʿ'riḍūn
64 Translations
who shun idle talk
and those who turn away from evil vain talk
And those who from everything vain turn away
Who shun all frivolities
They turn away from empty discourse and engagements;
those who turn away from worthless talk;
who avoid vain talk
They always turn away from and avoid whatever is vain and frivolous
And who keep aloof from all that is vain and idle
and from idle talk turn awa
and who stay away from useless (acts and talks),
The believers are those who avoid worthless talk
Who avoid harmful talk
and those who disregard idle talk;
and who from vain talk turn aside
And who do not incline towards indecent matters
And those who turn away from idle talk.
and who eschew all vain discourse
And who shun vain talk
who turn away from idle talk
And who keep aloof from vain words
and those: they are those who keep (themselves) away from Al-Laghw
and they, those who from idle talk, are ones who turn aside
[They] avoid frivolous talk.
who avoid vain talk
who avoid whatever is vain and frivolous
And who shun what is vain
Those who are humble during their worship (salat)
And those that shun vanity
And who (always) keep away from absurd talk
And they abstain from vain talk
And they abstain from vain talk
And they abstain from vain talk.
And those who from the nonsense/senseless talk, they are objecting/turning away
and who turn away from all that is frivolous
And the ones who from idle talk are veering away
And who shun vain conversation
who avoid impious talks
and who keep themselves away from vain things
Who turn away from the evil vain talk,
And shun vulgarity
Who walk away from the evil vain talk,
Who refrain from small or idle talk, gossip and slander
who turn away from meaningless activities;
those who avoid idle talk;
And who turn away from idle talk,
who avoid profane talk
And they avoid vain talk.
who turn away from meaningless talk,
who turn away from the meaningless talk,
And those who from the chitchat are averted.
And those who keep aloof from (what is) vain
who turn away from all that is frivolous,
And who turn away from all that is senseless. (And they value time)
And who keep aloof from what is vain
And who shun all that which is vain
and who turn away from idle talk
And those who avoid useless talk
Those who avoid vain talk.
Those who avoid nonsense
And they who turn away from ill speec
And those who they turn away from idle speech,
Who avoid vain talk
Who avoid vain talk
