لَيَسْتَخْلِفَنَّهُمْ layastakhlifannahum
surely He will grant them succession V
فِى fī
in Prep
ٱلْأَرْضِ l-arḍi
the earth Noun
كَمَا kamā
as Prep
ٱسْتَخْلَفَ is'takhlafa
He gave succession V
ٱلَّذِينَ alladhīna
to those who Noun
مِن min
(were) before them Prep
قَبْلِهِمْ qablihim
(were) before them Noun
وَلَيُمَكِّنَنَّ walayumakkinanna
and that He will surely establish V
لَهُمْ lahum
for them Noun
دِينَهُمُ dīnahumu
their religion Noun
ٱلَّذِى alladhī
which Noun
ٱرْتَضَىٰ ir'taḍā
He has approved V
لَهُمْ lahum
for them Noun
وَلَيُبَدِّلَنَّهُم walayubaddilannahum
and surely He will change for them V
مِّنۢ min

بَعْدِ baʿdi
after Noun
خَوْفِهِمْ khawfihim
their fear Noun
أَمْنًا amnan
security Noun
يَعْبُدُونَنِى yaʿbudūnanī
(for) they worship Me V
لَا lā

يُشْرِكُونَ yush'rikūna
they associate V
بِى bī
with Me Noun
شَيْـًٔا shayan
anything Noun
وَمَن waman
But whoever Noun
كَفَرَ kafara
disbelieved V
بَعْدَ baʿda
after Noun
ذَٰلِكَ dhālika
that Noun
فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ fa-ulāika
then those Noun
هُمُ humu
[they] Noun
ٱلْفَٰسِقُونَ l-fāsiqūna
(are) the defiantly disobedient Noun

God has made a promise to those among you who believe and do good deeds: He will make them successors to the land, as He did those who came before them; He will empower the religion He has chosen for them; He will grant them security to replace their fear. ‘They will worship Me and not join anything with Me.’ Those who are defiant after that will be the rebels.

Arabic Text

وَعَدَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوا۟ مِنكُمۡ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ لَیَسۡتَخۡلِفَنَّهُمۡ فِی ٱلۡأَرۡضِ كَمَا ٱسۡتَخۡلَفَ ٱلَّذِینَ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡ وَلَیُمَكِّنَنَّ لَهُمۡ دِینَهُمُ ٱلَّذِی ٱرۡتَضَىٰ لَهُمۡ وَلَیُبَدِّلَنَّهُم مِّنۢ بَعۡدِ خَوۡفِهِمۡ أَمۡنࣰاۚ یَعۡبُدُونَنِی لَا یُشۡرِكُونَ بِی شَیۡءࣰاۚ وَمَن كَفَرَ بَعۡدَ ذَ ٰلِكَ فَأُو۟لَـٰۤىِٕكَ هُمُ ٱلۡفَـٰسِقُونَ ۝٥٥

waʿada l-lahu alladhīna āmanū minkum waʿamilū l-ṣāliḥāti layastakhlifannahum fī l-arḍi kamā is'takhlafa alladhīna min qablihim walayumakkinanna lahum dīnahumu alladhī ir'taḍā lahum walayubaddilannahum min baʿdi khawfihim amnan yaʿbudūnanī lā yush'rikūna bī shayan waman kafara baʿda dhālika fa-ulāika humu l-fāsiqūn
