أَلَكُمُ ٱلذَّكَرُ وَلَهُ ٱلۡأُنثَىٰ ٢١
alakumu l-dhakaru walahu l-unth
are you to have the male and He the female
Is it for you the sons and for Him the daughters?
What!-Unto YOu the males and Unto Him the females
Are there sons for you, and daughters for Him
Is the male yours and the female His?
Do you have males and He females?
Are you to have males and He females
What? For you the males and for Him the females
What (an ignoble idea you have)! Are you to have sons and He daughters
What, have you males, and He females
Are the males for you and females for Him?
Do you choose sons [and kill your new born girls as you consider them disgraceful] while calling these things as God’s daughters
What, for you the male, and for Him, the female
Are youpl to have the males and He the females?
Shall there be male offspring for Him and female for you
What! For you the son, and for Him the daughter
Is it that for you are the male and for Him the female?
Have ye male children, and God female
What! For you the males and for Him the females
What, have you males, and He females
What? shall ye have male progeny and God female
What! For you a son and for Him a daughter
Have you males and has He, females?
Have you preferred the male gender [for yourselves], and, for Him, the female?
Are you to have sons, and He the daughters
Shall you have the male issues, and He the female issues
Are the males for you and for Him the females
What! for you the males and for Him the females?
Are the males for you and for Him the females!
(O idolaters!) Are sons for you and daughters for Him (Allah)
Do you have the males, while He has the female
Do you have the males, while He has the females?
Do you have the males, while He has the females?
Are for you the male and for Him the female
Why - for yourselves [you would choose only] male offspring, whereas to Him [you assign] female
Do you have the male (s) and He the female (s)
Are yours the males and His the females
Do sons belong to you and daughters to God
Is it that you have males and He (Allah) has females
Is it for you the males and for Him the females?
(What)? the male offspring are for you, (humans) and for Him are the females
What! For you the males, and for Him, the females?
Have you chosen the idol you designated as male and left to Allah what you designated as female
You chose sons for yourselves and daughters for Allah, why?
Do you ˹prefer to˺ have sons while ˹you attribute˺ to Him daughters?
Do you have males and He has females?
Are you to have the male, and He the female
Do you have sons, while He has these as daughters?
Why do you chose for yourself male offspring and assign to God the female?

Is the male for you and for Him the female?
Why - for yourselves you would prefer only sons, whereas to Him you assign daughters
What! for you the males and for Him the females
