The Family of Imran, The House of Imran 3:81

ثُمَّ thumma

جَآءَكُمْ jāakum
comes to you V
رَسُولٌ rasūlun
a Messenger Noun
مُّصَدِّقٌ muṣaddiqun
confirming Noun
لِّمَا limā
that which Noun
مَعَكُمْ maʿakum
(is) with you Noun
لَتُؤْمِنُنَّ latu'minunna
you must believe V
بِهِۦ bihi
in him Noun
وَلَتَنصُرُنَّهُۥ walatanṣurunnahu
and you must help him V
قَالَ qāla
He said V
ءَأَقْرَرْتُمْ a-aqrartum
Do you affirm V
وَأَخَذْتُمْ wa-akhadhtum
and take V
عَلَىٰ ʿalā
on Prep
ذَٰلِكُمْ dhālikum
that (condition) Noun
إِصْرِى iṣ'rī
My Covenant Noun
قَالُوٓا۟ qālū
They said V
أَقْرَرْنَا aqrarnā
We affirm V
قَالَ qāla
He said V
فَٱشْهَدُوا۟ fa-ish'hadū
Then bear witness V
وَأَنَا۠ wa-anā
and I (am) Noun
مَعَكُم maʿakum
with you Noun
مِّنَ mina
among Prep
ٱلشَّٰهِدِينَ l-shāhidīna
the witnesses Noun

God took a pledge from the prophets, saying, ‘If, after I have bestowed Scripture and wisdom upon you, a messenger comes confirming what you have been given, you must believe in him and support him. Do you affirm this and accept My pledge as binding on you?’ They said, ‘We do.’ He said, ‘Then bear witness and I too will bear witness.’

وَإِذۡ أَخَذَ ٱللَّهُ مِیثَـٰقَ ٱلنَّبِیِّـۧنَ لَمَاۤ ءَاتَیۡتُكُم مِّن كِتَـٰبࣲ وَحِكۡمَةࣲ ثُمَّ جَاۤءَكُمۡ رَسُولࣱ مُّصَدِّقࣱ لِّمَا مَعَكُمۡ لَتُؤۡمِنُنَّ بِهِۦ وَلَتَنصُرُنَّهُۥۚ قَالَ ءَأَقۡرَرۡتُمۡ وَأَخَذۡتُمۡ عَلَىٰ ذَ ٰلِكُمۡ إِصۡرِیۖ قَالُوۤا۟ أَقۡرَرۡنَاۚ قَالَ فَٱشۡهَدُوا۟ وَأَنَا۠ مَعَكُم مِّنَ ٱلشَّـٰهِدِینَ ۝٨١

wa-idh akhadha l-lahu mīthāqa l-nabiyīna lamā ātaytukum min kitābin waḥik'matin thumma jāakum rasūlun muṣaddiqun limā maʿakum latu'minunna bihi walatanṣurunnahu qāla a-aqrartum wa-akhadhtum ʿalā dhālikum iṣ'rī qālū aqrarnā qāla fa-ish'hadū wa-anā maʿakum mina l-shāhidīn
