فَجَعَلَ مِنۡهُ ٱلزَّوۡجَیۡنِ ٱلذَّكَرَ وَٱلۡأُنثَىٰۤ ٣٩
fajaʿala min'hu l-zawjayni l-dhakara wal-unth
fashioning from it the two sexes, male and female
and made him either of the 2 sexes, male and female.
And made of him the two sexes, male and female
And assigned it sexes, male and female
And made of him two partners, the male (consciousness – active energy) and the female (the body – the receptive energy).
