The Table, The Table Spread 5:12

وَبَعَثْنَا wabaʿathnā
and We appointed V
مِنْهُمُ min'humu
among them Prep
ٱثْنَىْ ith'nay
two Noun
عَشَرَ ʿashara
(and) ten Noun
نَقِيبًا naqīban
leaders Noun
وَقَالَ waqāla
And said V
ٱللَّهُ l-lahu
Allah Noun
إِنِّى innī
Indeed, I (am) Prep
مَعَكُمْ maʿakum
with you Noun
لَئِنْ la-in
if Prep
أَقَمْتُمُ aqamtumu
you establish V
ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ l-ṣalata
the prayer Noun
وَءَاتَيْتُمُ waātaytumu
and give V
ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ l-zakata
the zakah Noun
وَءَامَنتُم waāmantum
and you believe V
بِرُسُلِى birusulī
in My Messengers Noun
وَعَزَّرْتُمُوهُمْ waʿazzartumūhum
and you assist them V
وَأَقْرَضْتُمُ wa-aqraḍtumu
and you loan V
ٱللَّهَ l-laha
(to) Allah Noun
قَرْضًا qarḍan
a loan Noun
حَسَنًا ḥasanan
goodly Noun
لَّأُكَفِّرَنَّ la-ukaffiranna
surely I will remove V
عَنكُمْ ʿankum
from you Prep
سَيِّـَٔاتِكُمْ sayyiātikum
your evil deeds Noun
وَلَأُدْخِلَنَّكُمْ wala-ud'khilannakum
and I will surely admit you V
جَنَّٰتٍ jannātin
(to) gardens Noun
تَجْرِى tajrī
flow V
مِن min
from Prep
تَحْتِهَا taḥtihā
underneath them Noun
ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ l-anhāru
the rivers Noun
فَمَن faman
But whoever Noun
كَفَرَ kafara
disbelieved V
بَعْدَ baʿda
after Noun
ذَٰلِكَ dhālika
that Noun
مِنكُمْ minkum
among you Prep
فَقَدْ faqad
then certainly Prep
ضَلَّ ḍalla
he strayed V
سَوَآءَ sawāa
(from) the way Noun
ٱلسَّبِيلِ l-sabīli
the right Noun

God took a pledge from the Children of Israel. We made twelve leaders arise among them, and God said, ‘I am with you: if you keep up the prayer, pay the prescribed alms, believe in My messengers and support them, and lend God a good loan, I will wipe out your sins and admit you into Gardens graced with flowing streams. Any of you who now ignore this [pledge] will be far from the right path.’

۞ وَلَقَدۡ أَخَذَ ٱللَّهُ مِیثَـٰقَ بَنِیۤ إِسۡرَ ٰۤءِیلَ وَبَعَثۡنَا مِنۡهُمُ ٱثۡنَیۡ عَشَرَ نَقِیبࣰاۖ وَقَالَ ٱللَّهُ إِنِّی مَعَكُمۡۖ لَىِٕنۡ أَقَمۡتُمُ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَءَاتَیۡتُمُ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ وَءَامَنتُم بِرُسُلِی وَعَزَّرۡتُمُوهُمۡ وَأَقۡرَضۡتُمُ ٱللَّهَ قَرۡضًا حَسَنࣰا لَّأُكَفِّرَنَّ عَنكُمۡ سَیِّءَاتِكُمۡ وَلَأُدۡخِلَنَّكُمۡ جَنَّـٰتࣲ تَجۡرِی مِن تَحۡتِهَا ٱلۡأَنۡهَـٰرُۚ فَمَن كَفَرَ بَعۡدَ ذَ ٰلِكَ مِنكُمۡ فَقَدۡ ضَلَّ سَوَاۤءَ ٱلسَّبِیلِ ۝١٢

walaqad akhadha l-lahu mīthāqa banī is'rāīla wabaʿathnā min'humu ith'nay ʿashara naqīban waqāla l-lahu innī maʿakum la-in aqamtumu l-ṣalata waātaytumu l-zakata waāmantum birusulī waʿazzartumūhum wa-aqraḍtumu l-laha qarḍan ḥasanan la-ukaffiranna ʿankum sayyiātikum wala-ud'khilannakum jannātin tajrī min taḥtihā l-anhāru faman kafara baʿda dhālika minkum faqad ḍalla sawāa l-sabīl
