Those Who Set The Ranks, Drawn up in Ranks, The Rangers 37:142

فَٱلۡتَقَمَهُ ٱلۡحُوتُ وَهُوَ مُلِیمࣱ ١٤٢
fal-taqamahu l-ḥūtu wahuwa mulīmu
and a great fish swallowed him, for he had committed blameworthy acts
Then a (big) fish swallowed him while he had done an act worthy of blame.
And a fish swallowed him, and he was reproaching himself
Then he was swallowed by a large fish as he was worthy of blame
Then the fish (the life of the world) swallowed him (Jonah) while he was blaming himself (confused with feelings of guilt);
Then the fish devoured him and he was to blame.
Then the fish swallowed him while he was blameworthy
(They threw him into the sea, and) the big fish swallowed him, while he was accused (by his conscience)
Then (it came about that) a big fish took him in its mouth while he was reproaching (himself)
then the whale swallowed him down, and he blameworthy
So, the whale swallowed him, and he was to blame.
Eventually a big fish swallowed him and he was the only one to be blamed for his destiny [as he fled his place of mission without asking God’s permission]
Then the fish swallowed him. He had done things worthy of blame
Then the whale took him into its mouth, and he was to blame.
and a fish swallowed him, for he was to be blamed
The fish then swallowed him and he blamed himself. (For not waiting for Allah’s command.
So the fish swallowed him while he was blameworthy.
And the fish swallowed him; for he was worthy of reprehension
And the fish swallowed him while he was blameworthy
So the whale swallowed him, for he was blameworthy
And the fish swallowed him, for he was blameworthy
Then a (big) fish swallowed him while he (is) one who blames (his own, and has no complaint against his Creator)
Then, the great fish engulfed him while he was one who is answerable.
The big fish swallowed him. He had committed acts worthy of blame.
A whale swallowed him for he had become blameworthy
Then a fish swallowed him, and he was blameworthy
So the fish took him into its mouth while he was blamable
then the fish swallowed him and he was blameworthy.
And then the big fish swallowed him and he was himself to blame
Then the fish swallowed him and he was a (self-condemning) repentant
Thus a whale swallowed him, and he was the one to blame
Thus a whale swallowed him, and he was the one to blame.
Thus a whale swallowed him, and he was the one to blame.
So the large fish/whale swallowed/swallowed him quickly, and (while) he is blameworthy/blamed
[and they cast him into the sea,] whereupon the great fish swallowed him, for he had been blameworthy
So the whale gobbled him, and he was blameworthy
And the fish swallowed him while he was blameworthy
The fish swallowed him up and he deserved (all this)
Then the fish swallowed him while he was reproaching his own self
Then a great fish swallowed him as he was culpable.
A whale swallowed him. He was (at fault and) blame worthy
Then a great fish swallowed him as he was culpable.
And there he was swallowed by the fish and it was him who had incurred the blame
A whale swallowed him, as he blamed himself.

Then the Fish grabbed him while he was blaming himself. (Again, usually a whale is mentioned here. But the whale is a mammal and not a fish, and the Qur'an which is never inaccurate, speaks of
So the fish swallowed him while he did that for which he blamed himsel
And the fish swallowed him while he was reproaching himself
Then the fish swallowed him, for he was blameworthy
Then the (big) fish swallowed him, and he had done actions worthy of blame (by running away from his mission)
