وَكَانُوا۟ یَنۡحِتُونَ مِنَ ٱلۡجِبَالِ بُیُوتًا ءَامِنِینَ ٨٢
wakānū yanḥitūna mina l-jibāli buyūtan āminīn
They carved out dwellings in the mountains, and lived in security
And they used to cut out secure homes in the mountains.
And they were hewing out houses from mountains feeling secure
They used to hew dwellings in the mountains to live in security
They used to carve secure houses from mountains.
They carved out houses from the mountains, feeling safe,
They used to hew out dwellings from mountains feeling secure
They hewed out dwellings in the mountains, feeling themselves secure (against any calamity)
And they (in search of a life of peace and security,) used to hew some parts of the mountains into houses feeling secure (therein)
They were hewing the mountains into houses, therein dwelling securely
And they carved safe (and secure) houses in the mountains.
They used to carve secure houses inside the mountains
Out of the mountains, they carved secure edifices
And of the mountains they used to carve homes, feeling safe.
And they did hew them in the mountain houses to dwell in in safety
And they used to carve dwellings in the hills, without fear
And they used to carve out of the mountains houses feeling secure.
And they hewed houses out of mountains, to secure themselves
And they used to hew out dwellings from the mountain to dwell in safety
They hewed their dwellings out of the mountains in safety
And they hewed them out abodes in the mountains to secure them
And they used to carve and hew out residential suites in the mountains (feeling) fully secure (against natural calamity)
And they had been carving out safe houses from mountains,
Out of the mountains, they cut secure housing.
They hewed their homes in the mountains for safety
They used to hew out houses from the mountains and lived in security
And they hewed houses in the mountains, in security
And they used to carve out houses in the mountains (for their) security.
And they were wont to hew houses in the mountains for security
And they used to carve out houses in the mountains without any threat and fear
And they used to sculpt from the mountains dwellings that were secure
Andthey used to carve from the mountains homes, to be secure.
And they used to carve from the mountains homes, to be secure.
And they were carving out/cutting from the mountains houses/homes safely/securely
notwithstanding that they had been wont [to enjoy Our blessings and] to hew out dwellings from the mountains, [wherein they could live] in securit
And they used to hew the mountains into homes, (therein dwelling) securely
And they used to hew out dwellings from the hills, (wherein they dwelt) secure
They would carve secure houses out of the mountains
They used to hew out houses from the hills peacefully
They used to grave houses out of the mountains, therein dwelling safely;
They used to carve safe and secure homes in the mountains

And they were carving the mountains into homes wherein they made abode and enjoyed safety and security
They carved houses in the mountains, living safely
They carved their homes in the mountains, feeling secure.
And they carved out safe homes from the mountains.
They hewed their dwellings out of the mountains and led their lives in safety
They used to carve secure homes out of the mountains.
They carved dwellings in the mountains, thinking themselves secure
They carved dwellings in the mountains, thinking themselves secure
And They were carving from the mountains, homes, secured.
And they used to hew secure houses in the mountains.
Out of the mountains did they hew their dwellings, leading a life of security.
Even as they (with power given by Us) used to carve homes in the mountains for security
And they hewed houses in the mountains in security
And they used to hew out houses in the mountains, in security
And they would hew dwellings in the mountains, [feeling] secure
And they cut out large houses out of the mountains, (trying to become safe and) secure
They used to carve secure homes into the mountains.
They used to carve homes in the mountains, feeling secure
And they used to carve from the mountains, houses, feeling secure
And they used to hew out houses from the mountains, secure.
Out of the mountains did they hew (their) edifices, (feeling themselves) secure
