فَأَمَّا الْإِنسَانُ إِذَا مَا ابْتَلَاهُ رَبُّهُ فَأَكْرَمَهُ وَنَعَّمَهُ فَيَقُولُ رَبِّي أَكْرَمَنِ

وَأَمَّا إِذَا مَا ابْتَلَاهُ فَقَدَرَ عَلَيْهِ رِزْقَهُ فَيَقُولُ رَبِّي أَهَانَنِ

وَجِيءَ يَوْمَئِذٍ بِجَهَنَّمَ يَوْمَئِذٍ يَتَذَكَّرُ الْإِنسَانُ وَأَنَّىٰ لَهُ الذِّكْرَىٰ

89:24 ›
يَقُولُ يَا لَيْتَنِي قَدَّمْتُ لِحَيَاتِي

He will say, ‘Would that I had provided for this life to come!’

يقول: يا ليتني قدَّمتُ في الدنيا من الأعمال ما ينفعني لحياتي في الآخرة.

89:25 ›
فَيَوْمَئِذٍ لَّا يُعَذِّبُ عَذَابَهُ أَحَدٌ

On that Day, no one will punish as He punishes

ففي ذلك اليوم العصيب لا يستطيع أحدٌ ولا يقدر أن يُعذِّبَ مثل تعذيب الله من عصاه، ولا يستطيع أحد أن يوثِقَ مثل وثاق الله، ولا يبلغ أحدٌ مبلغه في ذلك.

89:26 ›
وَلَا يُوثِقُ وَثَاقَهُ أَحَدٌ

and no one will bind as He binds

ففي ذلك اليوم العصيب لا يستطيع أحدٌ ولا يقدر أن يُعذِّبَ مثل تعذيب الله من عصاه، ولا يستطيع أحد أن يوثِقَ مثل وثاق الله، ولا يبلغ أحدٌ مبلغه في ذلك.

89:27 ›
يَا أَيَّتُهَا النَّفْسُ الْمُطْمَئِنَّةُ

‘[But] you, soul at peace

يا أيتها النفس المطمئنة إلى ذِكر الله والإيمان به، وبما أعدَّه من النعيم للمؤمنين، ارجعي إلى ربك راضية بإكرام الله لك، والله سبحانه قد رضي عنك، فادخلي في عداد عباد الله الصالحين، وادخلي معهم جنتي.
