فَأُلۡقِیَ ٱلسَّحَرَةُ سَـٰجِدِینَ ٤٦
fa-ul'qiya l-saḥaratu sājidīn
and the sorcerers fell down on their knees
And the sorcerers fell down prostrate,
Then the magicians flung themselves prostrate
Then the magicians fell prostrating in adoration
Upon seeing this, the magicians prostrated in front of Moses!
The magicians threw themselves down, prostrating.
Thereat the magicians fell down prostrating
The sorcerers threw themselves down, prostrating
Thereupon the sorcerers were impelled to fall down prostrating
so the sorcerers were cast down, bowing themselves
So, the magicians fell, prostrating (and showing humbleness).
At this, the magicians fell prostrate
Then the illusionists fell down, prostrate in adoration
So the sorcerers fell down prostrating.
And the sorcerers threw themselves down, adoring
The magicians therefore fell down prostrate
Immediately the magicians fell down in prostration.
Whereupon the magicians prostrated themselves, worshipping
And the magicians threw themselves down, in obeisance
so the sorcerers were cast down, prostrating themselves
Then the magicians threw themselves down in worship
So the sorcerers were made to drop (themselves on the ground as) those who are prostrating (in humility to Allah)
The ones who are sorcerers were cast down, ones who prostrate themselves.
The sorcerers fell and prostrated in adoration.
At this, all the magicians prostrated themselves
Thereupon the magicians fell down in prostration
And the enchanters were thrown down prostrate -
Then Musa cast down his staff when it swallowed that which they had falsely devised.

Overwhelmed with wonder, the sorcerers bowed to the ground in comely order, praise and admiration

And down fell the magicians in prostration [to God],

Thereupon the sorcerers were impelled to fall down prostrate
Then were the sorcerers cast down, prostrating
