رُّبَمَا یَوَدُّ ٱلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوا۟ لَوۡ كَانُوا۟ مُسۡلِمِینَ ٢
rubamā yawaddu alladhīna kafarū law kānū mus'limīn
The disbelievers may well come to wish they had submitted to God
Perhaps (the Day will come when) those who disbelieve wish that they were Muslims.
Oft times would those who disbelieve fain that they had been Muslims
The unbelievers would haply like to wish that they had submitted (and become Muslim)
(It will be that) those who deny the knowledge of the reality (curtained from their reality) will wish with intense desire that they had been aware of their submission.
It may be that those who are kafir will wish that they had been Muslims.
Much will the faithless wish that they had been muslims
Again and again will those who disbelieve wish that they had been Muslims
Often those who disbelieve (in the verses of this perfect Book) would wish they had been Muslims
Perchance the unbelievers will wish that they had surrendered
Oftentimes those who disbelieve wish that they were submitted (to God).
Pretty soon the same people who violently oppose Islam will submit themselves to the will of God regretting why they did not embrace Islam sooner
Again and again will those who disbelieve wish that they had made peace
Perhaps those who have denied will wish they had been Muslims.
Many a time will those who disbelieve fain they had been resigned
The disbelievers will ardently wish that if only they had been Muslims! ( At the time of death / in their graves / on the Day of Resurrection.
Perhaps those who disbelieved would wish if they had been of those who submitted themselves to Allah.
The time may come when the unbelievers shall wish that they had been Moslems
Many a time will those who disbelieve wish they had surrendered (obeyed or been Muslims)
It could be that those who disbelieve will wish that they were Muslims
Many a time will the infidels wish that they had been Muslims
Frequently, those who have disbelieved, desire and wish — that they had been Muslims
It may be those who were ungrateful would wish that they had been ones who submit to God.
Perhaps the disbelievers will [eventually] wish that they had submitted [to Allah].
The Day will come when the unbelievers will wish that they were Muslims
Soon will the time come when the unbelievers will wish they were Muslims
Often will those who disbelieve wish that they were Muslims
Those who do not believe will often wish that they had been Muslims.
Those who suppress the Truth shall frequently wish that they had been Muslims (submitters to divine Will)
(Watching the scenes of Allah’s mercy on the believers in the Hereafter,) the disbelievers will persistently aspire: would that they were Muslims
Perhaps those who have rejected will wish they were of those who surrendered
Ultimately, those who have rejected will wish they had submitted!
Ultimately, those who have rejected will wish they had submitted!
Maybe those who disbelieved wish/love if they were Moslems/submitters/surrenderers
And it will come to pass that those who are [now] bent on denying this truth will wish that they had surrendered themselves to God [in their life time]
(Probably) the ones who have disbelieved would often rather like that if they were Muslims
It may be that those who disbelieve wish ardently that they were Muslims
How strongly the unbelievers will wish that they had been Muslims
On many occasions, the disbelievers will wish that they were Muslims
It may be that those who excessively indulge in disbelief in Allâh will wish ardently that they had submitted (themselves completely to the Authority of Allâh).
There will come a time when the unbelievers would look back and yearn to have lived as obedient ones
(On the Day of Resurrection) those who persistently refuse to Yield to the Truth will ardently wish they had submitted (to Allâh in their life time).
Perhaps the Day shall come sooner than expected when those who denied Allah and disobeyed His statutes wish they had conformed to Islam as ordained by Him
One day the disbelievers will wish they had submitted to Allah’s will.
˹The day will come when˺ the disbelievers will certainly wish they had submitted ˹to Allah˺.
It may happen that those who reject (the truth) wish they were Muslims (who submit).
The day will surely come when those who disbelieve will wish that they were Muslims
Certainly, those who disbelieved will wish they were submitters.
Perhaps those who have rejected the truth will wish to submit themselves to God.
Perhaps those who have rejected the truth will wish to submit themselves to God.
Perhaps, those who disbelieved wish that they were Muslims.
Often will those who disbelieved wish that they were Muslims
Little do those who disbelieve wish that they were Muslims.
The time is coming when the rejecters of the Truth will ardently wish that they were Muslims
Often will those who disbelieve wish that they had been Muslims
Often do the disbelievers wish they Muslims
It may be that those who disbelieve will wish that they had submitted
Again and again, those who disbelieve, will wish that they bowed (to Allah) in Islam
Perhaps those who disbelieve would wish that they had been Submitters.
Perhaps those who disbelieve would like to become Muslims.
Perhaps those who disbelieve will wish that they had been Muslims
Many a time will those who disbelieve wish if they were those who submit.
Again and again will those who disbelieve, wish that they had bowed (to God's will) in Islam
Again and again will those who disbelieve, wish that they had bowed (to Allah's will) in Islam
