The Poets 26:139

فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَأَهۡلَكۡنَـٰهُمۡۚ إِنَّ فِی ذَ ٰلِكَ لَءَایَةࣰۖ وَمَا كَانَ أَكۡثَرُهُم مُّؤۡمِنِینَ ۝١٣٩
fakadhabūhu fa-ahlaknāhum inna fī dhālika laāyatan wamā kāna aktharuhum mu'minīn
64 Translations
They denounced him as a liar, and so We destroyed them. There truly is a sign in this, though most of them do not believe
So they denied him, and We destroyed them. Surely! In this is indeed a sign, yet most of them are not believers.
And they belied him; so We destroyed them. Verily herein is a sign, yet most of them are not believers
Then they accused him of lies; so We annihilated them. Verily there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe
And thus they denied him, and We destroyed them! Indeed, there is a miracle – a lesson – in this! But most of them are not believers.

And they disbelieved him and refused credence to Our message wherefore We reduced them to a useless form. This is indeed emblematic of Allah's Omnipotence and Authority, but most of them denied Allah Who brought them into existence
