64 Translations
وَٱلۡمُرۡسَلَـٰتِ عُرۡفࣰا ۝١
By the [winds] sent forth in swift succession
By the emissary winds (sent forth) one after another
By the winds sent forth with beneficence
I CALL TO WITNESS those who are sent consecutively
By those disclosed one after another;
By those sent forth in succession,
By the successive emissaries
By the companies (of angels) sent one after another for some good results
I call to witness those (messengers of Truth) who are sent forth to spread goodness (in continual series)
By the loosed ones successivel
By those sent in succession
I (God) swear by the same winds that are sent as an emissary for the profit of mankind
By those sent forth one after another
By those unleashed in succession,
By those sent in a series
By oath of those that are sent, one after the other. (The verses of the Holy Qur’an or the angels or the winds)
By those that send out fragrance.
By the angels which are sent by God, following one another in a continual series; and those which move swiftly
I swear by (or call to witness) the emissary winds sent one after another for men´s benefit
By (the wind) those sent (as horses') mane (in succession)
By the train of THE SENT ones
Act as a witness those personalities who are sent forth and are well-known
By ones who are sent successively,
Consider the hurled (gusts), one after another.
By the emissary winds, which are sent forth one after another
By the (winds) sent forth in quick succession
By those sent forth to spread goodness
By those sent one after another,
By the emissaries [winds], recognized by feel [blowing gently],
By the soft blowing, pleasant breezes which blow in succession
By the winds which are sent
By the winds which are sent.
By those sent with knowledge.
And/by the messengers/sent/angles (F) , successively/sand dunes/elevated points
CONSIDER these [messages,] sent forth in wave
And (by) the emissaries in a (continual) series with benevolence
By the emissary winds, (sent) one after anothe
By (the angels) sent forth with the commands of God
(I swear) by those (winds) that are sent one after the other
By the emissary winds which are sent forth one after another,
(I swear by the wind) that is sent in waves, and buffets gently
I swear by the emissary winds that are sent forth one after another:
By the winds blowing in any of the four directions and of gradual degrees of force perceptible to the senses
By the winds that blow non-stop,
By those ˹winds˺ sent forth successively,
By those dispatched repeatedly,
BY THE gales, sent forth in swift succession
(Angels) dispatched in succession
By those [winds] sent forth in gusts
By those [winds] sent forth in gusts
By the emissaries (wind), one after another.
By those (Angels)(winds) sent forth one after another
Witness are these Messages (to the Sublime Truth), sent forth one after another
I swear by the emissary winds, sent one after another (for men's benefit)
By those who send forth to spread goodness
By those sent forth in succession
By the (winds) sent one after another
By those dispatched in succession.
By those unleashed in succession
By those that are sent forth gently,
By those [winds] sent forth in gust
By those sent one after another.
By the (Winds) sent forth one after another (to man's profit)
By the (Winds) sent forth one after another (to man's profit)
فَٱلۡعَـٰصِفَـٰتِ عَصۡفࣰا ۝٢
violently storming
by the raging hurricanes,
And those raging swiftly
And those that strike violently
That blow about violently;
by the violently gusting blasts,
by the raging hurricanes
And then moving as fast and forcefully as tempests
Those that drive off forcefully (falsehood and forces of evil as chaff is carried before the wind)
storming tempestuousl
then by the storm, gusting
I (God) swear by the raging hurricanes that…
That blow violently in tempestuous gusts
and by those storming turbulently.
And by those who speed swiftly
Then by oath of those that push with a strong gust
And by the winds that blow violently.
with a rapid motion
By the raging hurricanes
storming tempestuousl
And the swift in their swiftness
So, the personalities who perform with full force and capacity — in full force and capacity
by the storm and raging tempest,
Consider the winds blowing violently…
By the raging hurricanes
which then blow tempestuousl
Then those driving off the chaff
then the violent winds, blowing violently,
Then by the storms blowing violently
Then by the violent winds which blow with fierce gusts
Then the gusts that blow
So the gusts then blow.
So they drive the wind.
So the stormy/turbulent winds , violently/turbulently
and then storming on with a tempest's force
Then (by) tempests (storming) tempestuously
By the raging hurricanes
by (the angels) as swift as blowing winds
and by those that blow violently
And the winds that blow violently,
And the violent wind that raises storms
By the raging winds that blow violently:
Then they become high, causing violent disturbance of the atmosphere and may engender a storm
the strong gusty winds,
and those blowing violently,
And those blowing violently,
by the raging tempest
To drive the wind
and those violently storming,
and those violently storming,
Then by the stormers (wind) stormily.
And those who move as a hurricane
As they gain strength like a tempest
By the raging hurricanes
Then they push on with a forceful pushing
By the storming tempests
Which then blow very hard in violent storms
And those that storm with turbulence.
Storming turbulently
then storm tempestuously;
And the winds that blow violentl
By the winds that blow violently, blowing violently.
Which then blow violently in tempestuous Gusts
Which then blow violently in tempestuous Gusts
وَٱلنَّـٰشِرَ ٰتِ نَشۡرࣰا ۝٣
scattering far and wide
by (the winds) that scatter (the clouds) to distant places,
By the spreading winds spreading
And those that revive by quickening
Who bring to life and cause to rise;
by the scatterers scattering,
by the sweeping spreaders
And by those enfolding the Scrolls of Revelation
And those that spread (the truth) far and wide
by the scatterers scatterin
and by the spreaders, spreading
…t scatter clouds to their final destinations
And scatter far and wide
By those scattering far and wide,
And by the dispensers abroad
Then by oath of those that lift and carry
And by the ones that spread a nice spreading.
and by those which disperse his commands, by divulging them through the earth
Which scatter things far and wide
and by the scatterers scattering (rain
By the scatterers who scatter
And the personalities who broadcast (the Message of Allah) in full broadcast
by that which causes vegetation to revive, unfolding
…and scattering far and wide…
By the winds that lift up and scatter the clouds to their distant places
and raise (clouds) and scatter them around
And those spreading (goodness), far and wide
and those that scatter, scattering,
By those [winds] that scatter [clouds] far and wide
And by those which spread the clouds all around
And all that is scattered about
And all that is scattered about.
And they stir up clouds.
And/by the spreading/extending/winds (for clouds) , spreading out/extending
Consider these [messages] that spread [the truth] far and wide
And (by) the spreaders spreading
By those which cause earth's vegetation to revive
by (the angels) spreading (the words of God) far and wide
and by those that spread (clouds) all over
By the winds that scatter far and wide,
Then, scatters things around
By the winds that spread clouds in the sky:
and by the winds carrying clouds* floating at various heights and scatter them and drift them to where a nimbus must form
the scattering winds,
and those scattering ˹rainclouds˺ widely!
And those scattering and propagating,
and the rain-spreading winds
Stir up clouds
consider these [messages] that spread [the Truth] far and wide,
consider these [messages] that spread [the Truth] far and wide,
And by the propagators (wind) a propagation.
By those who scatter far and wide
And spread (the Truth) far and wide
Which scatter clouds to their destined places
And by those who spread the Truth, a good spreading
By the spreaders spreading
And drive (things and the clouds) far and wide
And those that scatter far and wide.
Scattering far and wide
by those who spread an announcement,
And [by] the winds that spread [clouds]
By those that scatter, scattering.
And scatter (things) far and wide
And scatter (things) far and wide
فَٱلۡفَـٰرِقَـٰتِ فَرۡقࣰا ۝٤
separating forcefully
then separate them one from another,
And the scattering wind scattering
And those that distinguish distinctly
Who choose and separate;
by the winnowers winnowing,
by the decisive separators
And serving (for right and wrong) to be separated with all clarity
And those that fully distinguish (the right from the wrong)
and the severally severin
then by the separators, separating
I (God) swear by the verses of Qur’an which separate right from the wrong
Then separate them, one from another
and by those separating decisively,
And by the separators apart
Then by those that clearly differentiate the right and wrong
And by the ones that part with a forceful parting.
and by those which separate truth from falsehood, by distinguishing the same
And separate things one from another
then the criterion (the verses of Koran), separatin
And the distinguishers who distinguish
So, the personalities that make manifest the difference (between right and wrong, Light and darkness, and knowledge and ignorance) in complete separation
by the ones who separate a separating
…and then making distinction.
then separate them one from another
then winnow them thoroughly
Then those making a distinction
then those that distinguish, distinguishing (right from wrong),
Then by those [winds] that make an uneven distribution [of rain-bearing clouds]
Then by those which split (them) apart and break them off
So the separators which divide
So the separators which divide.
So they distribute provisions.
So the separated clouds/separators of right and wrong , separating
thus separating [right and wrong] with all clarity
Then (by) the ones who separate with a (distinct) separation
By those who winnow with a winnowing
by (the angels) who make a clear distinction between right and wron
and by those (angels) who differentiate (between right and wrong) distinctly
By the decisive distinguishers, (i.e the ‘Verses’ of the ‘Qur’ān’), that separate (truth from falsehood by the) Criterion,
And splits them asunder
By the those Angels who distinguish (truth from falsehood):
and by the angels carrying Allah's Messages to His Messengers heralding the standard by which anything is judged right or wrong, virtuous or immoral, permissible or forbidden
the shearing winds that forcefully separate,
And ˹by˺ those ˹angels˺ fully distinguishing ˹truth from falsehood˺,
And those parting and dividing,
by those that send down the revelation
Distribute the provisions
thus separating [right and wrong] with all clarity,
thus separating [right and wrong] with all clarity,
Then by the separators, a separation.
And those who separate (one from another)
While distinguishing the Right from Wrong with a clear distinction
Then separate them one from another
Then they distinguish fully between good and evil
By the discerners discerning
Then separate them, one from another
And those that distinguish with precision.
Separating decisively
then distinguish differentiation
And those [angels] who bring criterio
By those that make distinction, separating.
Then separate them, one from another
Then separate them, one from another
فَٱلۡمُلۡقِیَـٰتِ ذِكۡرًا ۝٥
delivering a reminder
by those (angels) who bring down the reminder (to the Messengers),
And those winds that bring down the remembrance
And those that bring down the Reminde
And those who disclose the reminder (the forces that manifest in consciousness; the Exalted Assembly [Mala-i Ala]. The word ‘ilqa’ or ‘liqa’ [disclosure] is like ‘nafh’ [breath] in that it goes outward from within; it is an explicit projection experienced in the consciousness. In the sequence: the Hidden [Reflection of Attributes], the Secret [Reflection of Names], the Spirit [Fuad: Reflectors of the Names], the Heart [Consciousness] and the Self [Identity – Individual consciousness]. It looks to the reflections from the spirit to the heart. ‘Vicegerent’ [Khalifa] – ‘Man’ is the totality of all of these states or one who incorporates all of these states is called a true ‘Man’).
by those hurling a reminder,
by the inspirers of remembrance
And so bringing down the Revelation
And those carrying the Message of (rising to) eminence far and wide (- the Qur'an)
and those hurling a reminde
then by those communicating a reminder
I (God) swear by the angles which bring down the verses of Qur’an one after another to…
Then spread abroad a message
and by those casting a Reminder,
And by those who instil the reminder
And then by those that instil Remembrance into the hearts
And by the ones that receive a remembrance;
and by those which communicate the divine admonitions
Then I swear by the angels who bring down the revelation (or message)
and those (angels) dropping, remindin
And by those that give forth the wor
So, the personalities that bring to view right in front, (the) Zikr (‘Message’) —
by ones who cast a remembrance
Consider those who relay the reminder [of God’s Word],…
By those who bring down the reminder
and then cast (Allah´s) remembrance (in people´s hearts)
Then those offering the Reminder
then those that bring down the reminder ,
Then by those [winds] that bring down what is often talked of [rains
Then by those which bring direction and guidance
Then the remembrance that is found
Then the remembrance that is found.
So the remembrance is brought down.
So the throwing/throwing away a reminder/remembrance (delivering messages)
and then giving forth a reminder
Then (by) the ones casting a Remembrance
By those who bring down the Reminder
and by those who reveal revelations (to the prophets
then bring down the advice
By those (‘Angels’) who bring down the ‘Revelations’
And instills (in man) the remembrance (of Allah)
By those (Angels) who bring down the Revelation Knowledge
Then they disclose to them -to the Messengers- Allah's revelations and ordinances which inspirit the faith
and I swear by the angels who deliver a reminder,
and those delivering revelation,
And those bringing the reminder,
discerning good from evi
Deliver messages
and then delivering a reminder,
and then delivering a reminder,
Then by the throwers (Angels) of, a reminder.
And by those who reveal the (Divine) Reminder
In order to deliver the Reminder (into the hearts)
Then I swear by the angels who bring down the revelation
Then they carry the Exhortation far and wide
And by those who bring forth the Reminder
Then spread a Message
And those that deliver a reminder.
Delivering a message
and set forth reminder,
And those [angels] who deliver a messag
By those that offer a reminder,
Then spread abroad a Message
Then spread abroad a Message
عُذۡرًا أَوۡ نُذۡرًا ۝٦
as a proof or a warning
either to (remove all) excuses or to (covey the) warning.
By way of excuse or warning
To end all argument or to warn
To excuse (pardon misdeeds) or to warn.
excusing or warning,
to excuse or to warn
In order that some may have the means to ask for forgiveness and that some may be warned
(And those presenting this source of eminence) in an attempt to purify (some) from the abomination of sin and to warn (others)

…. warn and leave no room for any excuse
Whether of justification or of warning
excusing or warning––
as an excuse or warning
To complete the argument or to warn
whether of exculpation or of warning.
to excuse, or to threaten
To clarify or to warn
excusing or warning
To excuse or warn
as an excuse (i.e., performance of duty) or as a warning
as excusing or warning,
…whether explanation or warning.
either to remove the excuse or to convey the warning
to serve as an excuse or a warning
To clear or to warn! -
excusing or warning:
As excuse for or harbinger of calamity
To accomplish the argument or to warn
An excuse or a warning.
As an excuse or a warning.
An excuse/fault or sins or (a) warning/notice
[promising] freedom from blame or [offering] a warning
Excusing or warning
To excuse or to warn
to provide excuses for some and to give warnings to others
leaving no excuse (for the disbelievers) or giving warnings
To verify or to warn.
As a plea, and as a warning
To verify or to warn:
To admonish the responsive who opens his hearts' ears and warn the irresponsive, who turns a deaf ear
sometimes a prayer and sometimes a warning,
ending excuses and giving warnings.
By way of excuse or warning,
and admonishing by plea and warning
Good news, as well as warnings
[promising] freedom from blame or [offering] a warning,
[promising] freedom from blame or [offering] a warning,
Excusing or warning.
To justify or to warn
Whether one erases his faults or sees the danger signs. ('Uzr' = Excuse = Justification = Good news = Reasoning = Attempt to get rid of one's shortcomings. 'Nuzr' = Warning = Posting danger signs)
To clear or to warn
To excuse some and warn others
to excuse or to warn
Whether of justification or of warnin
Excusing or warning.

إِنَّمَا تُوعَدُونَ لَوَ ٰقِعࣱ ۝٧
what you are promised will come to pass
Surely, what you are promised must be fulfilled.
Verily that which ye are promised is about to befall
What is promised will surely come to pass
What you are promised will definitely be fulfilled!
what you are promised will certainly happen.
indeed what you are promised will surely befall
Surely what you are promised is bound to take place
Verily, that which you are promised must come to pass
surely that which you are promised is about to fall
that indeed what you are promised shall occur.
That indeed what Mohammad has told you will come true
Surely what you are promised must come to pass
indeed, what youpl are promised is sure to come.
Verily, what ye are threatened with shall surely happen
Indeed what you are promised, will surely befall
Indeed that which you are promised would most certainly come to pass.
Verily that which ye are promised is inevitable
Most surely what you are promised must come to pass
surely, that which you have been promised is about to fall
Verily that which ye are promised is imminent
Surely, whatever you are promised (through the above personalities) indeed (that is) something which must happen
truly, what you are promised will be that which falls.
Honestly, what you are promised will come to pass.
Surely, that which you are being promised, shall be fulfilled
Surely what you are promised shall come to pass
Surely that which you are promised will come to pass
That which you are promised will certainly befall.
What you are promised [Day of Resurrection/Judgment] is indeed inevitable
Surely, the promise (of the Last Day) which is being given to you will be certainly fulfilled
What you are being promised will come to pass
What you are being promised will come to pass.
What you are being promised will come to pass.
That truly what you are being promised (is) happening (E)
BEHOLD, all that you are told to expect will surely come to pass
Surely that which you are promised is indeed befalling
Surely that which ye are promised will befall
that whatever with which you have been warned will inevitably come to pass
that which you are promised is sure to happen
What you are promised is definitely about to occur!
What you are being promised, (the Day of Decision), will very surely occur
Most surely what you are promised will come to pass!
That all that you have been promised, from resurrection to judgment and paying off the equivalent will come to pass
what you’ve been promised will happen
Surely, what you are promised will come to pass.
What you have been promised will take place.
that which you are promised shall be fulfilled
What is promised will come to pass
what you are promised will surely happen.
what you are promised will surely happen.
Surely what you are promised will occur.
Surely that which you are promised (for the Resurrection) will befall
Behold, all that you are promised in this Writ will come to pass
Most surely what you are threatened with must come to pass
Verily, that which you are promised must come to pass
surely what you are promised will befall
Surely, what has been promised to you (shall) really happen
What you’re promised is to come.
Surely what you are promised will happen

Indeed, what you are promised is to occur
Indeed, what you are threatened with will surely happen.
Assuredly, what ye are promised must come to pass
Assuredly, what ye are promised must come to pass
فَإِذَا ٱلنُّجُومُ طُمِسَتۡ ۝٨
When the stars are dimme
(It will be fulfilled) when the stars will lose their light,
So when stars are effaced
When the stars are obliterated
When the stars are extinguished,
When the stars are extinguished,
So when the stars are blotted out
When the stars are effaced
So when the small stars will be made to lose their light
When the stars shall be extinguished
So, when the stars are wiped out
When the stars become dark
Then when the stars become dim
So when the stars are obliterated,
And when the stars shall be erased
So when the lights of the stars are put out
Lo! When the stars are effaced.
When the stars, therefore, shall be put out
So when the stars are made dim
When the stars are extinguished
When the stars, therefore, shall be blotted out
So, when the stars are made to lose their light
Then, when the stars will be obliterated
When the stars are smothered!
It is going to be fulfilled when the stars will lose their light
So when the stars are extinguished
So when the stars are made to disappear
So when the stars are made to disappear
So when the stars are extinguished
Then when the light of the stars will be extinguished
So when the stars are plunged
So when the stars are plunged.
So when the stars are plunged.
So when/if the stars/planets were eliminated/effaced
Thus, [it will come to pass] when the stars are effaced
So when the stars will be obliterated
So when the stars are put out
Then the stars will lose their light
So, when the stars will be extinguished
When the stars are obliterated,
(It will occur) when the stars lose their luster
So When the stars are obliterated,
When the stars are dimmed and emit no light,
When the stars’ light is faded,
So when the stars are put out,
Then when the stars fade,
When the stars are blotted out
Thus, when the stars are put out
So when the stars are extinguished,
So when the stars are extinguished,
So when the stars are obliterated.
Then when the stars are extinguished
So when the stars lose their luster. (The small groups of opponents fade away)
So when the stars are made to lose their light
So when the stars are made to lose their light
So when the stars are blotted out
Then when the stars lose their light (and glow)
When the stars are obliterated.
When the stars are obliterated
That is when the stars are extinguished
So when the stars are obliterate
So when the stars are effaced,
Then when the stars become dim
Then when the stars become dim
وَإِذَا ٱلسَّمَاۤءُ فُرِجَتۡ ۝٩
and the sky is torn apart
when the heaven will cleft asunder,
And when the heaven is cloven asunder
The heavens split asunder
And the sky is split open,
when heaven is split open,
and when the sky is split
And when the sky is rent asunder
And when the heaven shall be opened
when heaven shall be spli
and when the sky is split open
When the [ozone layer of the] sky is cracked
When the heaven is cleft asunder
and when the sky is fractured,
And when the heaven shall be cleft
And when the sky is split apart
And when the heaven is torn apart.
and when the heaven shall be cloven in sunder
And when the heaven is rent asunder
and when the sky is rent asunde
And when the heaven shall be cleft
and when the heaven is made to develop cracks
and when the heaven will be cleaved asunder
When the sky splits apart!
heaven will cleft asunder
and the sky is rent asunder
And when the heaven is rent asunder
and when the sky is cleft asunder,
And when the sky is torn asunder
And when the heavenly universe will be split open
And when the sky is opened
And when the heaven is opened.
And when the heaven is opened.
And when/if the sky/space opened/split open
and when the sky is rent asunder
And when the heaven will be riven
And when the sky is riven asunder
Heavens will rent asunder
and when the sky will be split
The sky is rent asunder,
The sky bursts asunder
And the sky is rent asunder,
And the heaven is split asunder
when the sky is cleaved,
and the sky is torn apart,
And the sky breaks up,
when the sky is rent asunde
The sky is opened u
the heaven is split open,
the heaven is split open,
And when the sky is slit.
And when the heaven is cleft asunder
And when the sky is rent asunder. (Every high tyrant is decimated)
And when the heaven is rent asunder
And when the heaven is rent asunder
and when the sky is riven asunder
And when the heaven is torn apart
And the sky is fractured.
And the sky is fractured
and when the sky is split open,
And when the heaven is opene
And when the sky is opened,
When the heaven is cleft asunder
When the heaven is cleft asunder
وَإِذَا ٱلۡجِبَالُ نُسِفَتۡ ۝١٠
when the mountains are turned to dus
when the mountains will blow away (into dust),
And when the mountains are carried away by wind
The mountains reduced to dust and blown away
And the mountains are blown away,
when the mountains are pulverised,
and when the mountains are scattered [like dust]
And when the mountains are blown away (as dust)
And when the mountains shall be blown down to pieces
when the mountains shall be scattere
and when the mountains are powdered
When the mountains are reduced to dust
When the mountains are scattered as dust
and when the mountains are blown away,
And when the mountains shall be winnowed
And when the mountains are made into dust and blown away
And when the mountains are reduced to dust.
and when the mountains shall be winnowed
And when the mountains are carried away as dust
and the mountains scattered
And when the mountains shall be scattered in dust
and when the mountains are broken and scattered as dust and debris
and when the mountains will be scattered
When the mountains convulse and crumble!
the mountains will crumble into dust
and the mountains are blown away
And when the mountains are carried away as dust
and when the mountains are uprooted as dust,
And when the mountains are brought down
And when the mountains will be (broken down to dust) and blown off
And when the mountains are destroyed
And when the mountains are destroyed.
And when the mountains are obliterated.
And when/if the mountains were uprooted and dispersed/exploded
and when the mountains are scattered like dust
And when the mountains will be crushed
And when the mountains are blown away
The mountains will be blown away as dust
and when the mountains will be blown away as dust
And the mountains are blown away,
The mountains (blow up and) crumble
And the mountains crumble into dust,
And the mountains melt and disappear out of sight
when the mountains are crumbled to dust,
and the mountains are blown away,
And the mountains crumble,
and the mountains crumble into dust
The mountains are blown up
the mountains are blown away,
the mountains are blown away,
And when the mountains were blown up.
And when the mountains are carried away
And when the mountains are blown away as dust. (The great ones who enslave the weak float around like flakes of wool). (20:105), (56:5)
And when the mountains are carried away as dust
And when the mountains are blown away like dust
when the mountains are scattered
And when the mountains are blown (to the winds) as dust
And the mountains are blown away.
And the mountains are blown away
and when the mountains arc pulverized,
And when the mountains are blown awa
And when the mountains are blown away,
When the mountains are scattered (to the winds) as dust
When the mountains are scattered (to the winds) as dust
وَإِذَا ٱلرُّسُلُ أُقِّتَتۡ ۝١١
and the messengers given their appointed time––
when the Messengers will be gathered to their appointed time.
And when the apostles are collected at the appointed time
And when the time comes for raising the little girls (buried alive) -
And the Rasuls (not the Nabis) take their new positions.
when the Messengers´ time is appointed —
and when the time is set for the apostles [to witness]
And when the time for the Messengers (to bear witness for or against their communities) is appointed
And when the Messengers shall be made to appear (in the guise of one person) at the appointed time. (It is after that the Resurrection shall take place)
and when the Messengers' time is set
and when the messengers' time is set (for testifying or for gathering),
And when the messengers are gathered at the appointed time
And when the messengers are all appointed a time
and when the messengers are gathered to their appointed time––
And when the apostles shall have a time appointed for them
And when the time of the Noble Messengers arrives
And when the messengers are gathered on the appointed time.
and when the apostles shall have a time assigned them to appear and bear testimony against their respective people
And when the messengers are gathered at their appointed tim

and the appointed time to bring the Messengers together arrives, (then shall the promised event come to pass)
And when the messengers are made to reach their appointed time

And when the Messengers are presented at the time appointed —

when the appointed term for the messengers finally comes –
and the messengers’ time ˹to testify˺ comes up—

And what shall teach thee what is the Day of Decision
And how would you know what the day of separation/decision is?
What a somber day it will be
And what will explain to you what the day of sorting out is
And what can make yousg realize what the Day of Decision is?
and what shall make thee know what the decision is
And what do you know, what the Day of Decision is
And how do you know what is the day of the judgment?
And what shall cause thee to understand what the day of separation is

What would make you aware of what the ‘Final Judgment’ might be?
And what do you suppose is the Day of Decision
And what will make you know exactly what the Day of Decision is?
You just do not know what this Day of decision and adjudication is like
What will explain to you what the Day of Decision is?
And what will make you realize what the Day of Decision is?
And how do you know what the day of division is?
Would that you knew what the Day of Judgement is
What a Day of Decision
And what do you know about the Day of Decision?
And what do you know about the Day of Decision?
And what cognizes you what is the decisive adjudication day?
What do you know about the Day of Sorting out
And what will enlighten you what that Day of Decision is
And what will make you comprehend what the day of decision is
And what should make thee know what the Day of Decision is
And what shall apprise thee of the Day of Division
And what will explain to you what is the Day of Sorting out
And what will make you understand what the Day of Sorting is?
And what will teach you what the Day of Decision is
And what will convey to you what the day of judgment is?
And what can make you know what is the Day of Judgement

And what will explain to thee what is the Day of Sorting out

وَیۡلࣱ یَوۡمَىِٕذࣲ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِینَ ۝١٥
Woe, on that Day, to those who denied the truth
Woe on that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)!
Woe on that day Unto the belier
Alas the woe that day for those who deny
Woe to those who denied (life after death) at that time!
On that Day, woe to the deniers!
Woe to the deniers on that day
Woe on that Day to those who deny (the Day)
On that day woe shall befall those who belie (the truth)
Woe that day unto those who cry it lies
Woe to the deniers on that day.
Pity on that day to the rejecters of the truth
Ah woe that day to the rejecters of truth
Woe on that day to the disbelievers.
Woe on that day for those who say it is a lie
Ruin is for the deniers on that day
Woes on that day are for the beliers.
On that day, woe be unto them who accused the prophets of imposture
Woe on that day to the rejecters
Woe on that Day to those who belied it
Woe on that day to those who charged with imposture
Woe that Day to the deniers (of Al-Kitab, and the Last Day)
Woe on that Day to the ones who deny!
Beware that day, rejecters of truth.
Woe on that Day to the disbelievers
Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth
Woe on that day to the rejectors
Sorrowful will be the state on that day, of the deniers.
Woe that Day for those who had denied the Truth
Woe (and devastation) to the deniers on that Day
Woe on that Day to the disbelievers
Woe on that Day to the disbelievers!
Woe on that Day to the disbelievers!
Calamity/scandal (on) that day to the liars/deniers/falsifiers
Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth
Upon that Day woe to the beliers
Woe unto the repudiators on that day
On that day, woe will be to those who have rejected God's revelations
Woe that Day to the deniers
Woe unto those who refuse to admit (the truth) of that day!
Misery that day is for those who (dispute and) deny (the truth)
Woe betide, on that day, those who are spiritually dead.
Woe then, to those who looked upon the truth as manifest falsification
A Day of great loss for the deniers
Woe on that Day to the deniers!
Woe on that day to those who deny.
On that day woe betide the disbelievers
Woe on that day to the rejectors
How horrible is that Day for those who deny the truth.
How horrible is that Day for those who deny the truth.
Woe on that Day for the falsifiers.
Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth
Anguish on that Day for those who deny the Truth in practice! ('Kizb' = Lie = Belie = Deny the Truth in practical dealings = Deny by action. 'Kufr' = Frank denial in word and action)
Woe on that day to the rejecters
Woe on that day unto those who reject the Truth
Woe that Day to the deniers
And, woe (sorrow and suffering), that Day for those (people) who reject the Truth
Woe, on that Day, to the deniers!
Woe on that Day to the liars.
Woe on that day to those who rejected truth as false!
Woe, that Day, to the deniers
Woe on that day to those who say it is a lie!
Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth
Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth
أَلَمۡ نُهۡلِكِ ٱلۡأَوَّلِینَ ۝١٦
Did We not destroy the first [of them]
Did We not destroy the previous generations (for evil deeds)?
Destroyed We not the ancients
Have We not destroyed the earlier generations
Did We not destroy the former people?
Did We not destroy the earlier peoples,
Did We not destroy the ancients
Did We not destroy the ancient peoples (who denied)
Did We not destroy the earlier peoples
Did We not destroy the ancients
Did We not destroy the earlier ones?
Remember how I (God) destroyed the former generation of disbelievers;…
Did We not destroy people in the past
Did We not destroy the ancients,
Have we not destroyed those of yore
Did We not destroy the earlier people
Did We not destroy the people of the ancient times?
Have We not destroyed the obstinate unbelievers of old
Did We not destroy the former generations
Did We not destroy the ancient
Have we not destroyed them of old
Did We not destroy the initial people
Caused We not the ancient ones to perish?
Did We not destroy ancient peoples?
Did We not destroy the former generations for their evil deeds
Did We not destroy many a nation of the earlier times
Did We not destroy the former generations
Did We not destroy the ancients?
Did We not destroy the earlier generations
Did We not destroy the people (who denied) before
Did We not destroy the ancient peopl
Did We not destroy the ancient people
Did We not destroy the ancient people?
Did We not destroy the first/beginners
Did We not destroy [so many of] those [sinners] of olden days
Did We not cause the earliest people to perish
Destroyed We not the former folk
Did We not destroy the ancient peopl
Did We not destroy the earlier people
Did We not put an end to the existence of the ancients (because of their evil deeds)?
Did We not wipe out the unbelievers of earlier times
Did We not destroyed the ancients (for their evil deeds)?
Did We not destroy those who charged Our Messengers with falsehood among the predecessors
Didn’t We destroy the previous generations?
Did We not destroy earlier disbelievers?
Did We not destroy the earlier communities?
Did We not obliterate the early generation
Did we not annihilate the earlier generations
Did We not destroy the earlier people?
Did We not destroy the earlier people?
Did We not destroy the formers?
Did We not destroy the men of old
Did We not annihilate the former generations
Did We not destroy the former generations
Did WE not destroy the earlier peoples
Did We not destroy those of old
Did We not destroy the people before (for their evil ways)
Didn’t We annihilate the first ones?
Did We not destroy the ancients
Did We not annihilate peoples of earlier times?
Did We not destroy the former peoples
Did We not destroy the former people?
Did We not destroy the men of old (for their evil)
Did We not destroy the men of old (for their evil)
ثُمَّ نُتۡبِعُهُمُ ٱلۡءَاخِرِینَ ۝١٧
We shall make the last follow them
Then We shall make later generations to follow them.
Thereafter We shall cause to follow them the latter ones
So shall We make the later ones to follow them
Then We will make the later ones follow them (they too will be destroyed).
then succeed them with later ones?
[and] then made the latter ones follow them
So do We make the later generations (of the same standing) follow them (in being destroyed)
We will now cause the later generations to follow suit
and then follow them with the later folk
Then We make the later ones follow them (in destruction).

So We will make those of late follow them
then follow them up with the later ones?
and then followed them up with those of the latter day
We shall then send the latter after them
Then We will cause the people of the later times to follow them [in their fate].

Then We bring in their place of authority, some later people
Again, We will pursue the later ones.

And We shall do the same to later generations who will follow them

and in like manner did We destroy the successors
We shall do the same to this one;
And We will make the later disbelievers follow them.

this is how We deal with the guilty
Thus We will deal with the criminals!
In this wise We do with the culprits
That is what We shall do to those who are guilty of crime
Thus do We deal with the guilty!
That is how We deal with evildoers.
That is how We deal with the guilty
For thus do We deal with the disbelieving criminals
That is how We deal with the guilty
So We serve the sinners
That is how We deal with the guilty ones.
This is the way that I (God) deal with the guilty ones
This is how We deal with the people of sin
This is how We deal with the criminals.
Thus do we with the sinners
This is how We deal with the guilty
Thus do We deal with the evildoers.
Thus do We deal with the wicked
Even thus shall We deal with the guilty
As such shall We deal with the sinners
Thus deal we with the evil doers
Thus do We deal with the transgressors
Thus, We accomplish this with the ones who sin.
That’s how We treat sinners.
Thus do We deal with the guilty

Thus do We deal with the sinners
This is how We sort out (the matter) with the evildoers
It is such that We do to the criminals

[for] thus do We deal with such as are lost in sin
Thus We perform against the criminals
Thus deal We ever with the guilty
Thus do We deal with the sinful ones
Thus We deal with the guilty people
Consequently, this is how We deal with the ungodly sinners.
This is what We do to the criminals
This is how We deal with the Ungodly Sinners.
Thus do We requite people given to sin
Our way of dealing with the sinners.
This is how We deal with the wicked.
This is how We deal with the sinners.
Thus shall We deal with the transgressors
This is what we do to the criminals
This is how We deal with those who forced others to reject Our messages
This is how We deal with those who forced others to reject Our messages
Thus We do with the criminals.
Thus do We ever deal with men of sin
Thus do We always deal with the guilty
Even thus shall We deal with the guilty
Thus do WE deal with the guilty
Thus do We deal with the guilty
We deal with men of sin in this way
Such is how We deal with the transgressors.

أَلَمۡ نَخۡلُقكُّم مِّن مَّاۤءࣲ مَّهِینࣲ ۝٢٠
Did We not make you from an underrated flui
Have We not created you from a worthless fluid (semen),
Created We you not of water despicable
Did We not create you from contemptible water
Did We not create you from a simple water?
Did We not create you from a base fluid,
Have We not created you from a base fluid
(How and why do you dare to deny?) Did We not create you from a humble fluid
Did We not create you from an insignificant fluid
Did We not create you of a mean water
Did We not create you from despicable liquid?
Did I (God) not create you from a disgusting liquid
Have We not created you from a fluid seemingly worthless
Did We not create youpl from a despicable fluid,
Did we not create you from contemptible water
Did We not create you from an abject fluid
Have we not created you from a liquid most humble?
Have We not created you of a contemptible drop of seed
Did We not create you from a fluid regarded contemptible
Did We not create you from a weak water
Have we not created you of a sorry germ
Did We not create you from an insignificant fluid
Create We you not of despicable water?
Did We not create you from a disgusting fluid [semen]?
Have We not created you from an unworthy fluid
Did We not create you of a mean fluid
Did We not create you from ordinary water
Did We not create you from a fluid (which is) weakened after vigor?
Did We not create you from a filthy fluid
Did We not create you from (a drop) of detestable fluid
Did We not create you from a fragile wate
Did We not create you from a fragile water,
Did We not create you from a fragile water,
Did We not create you from despised/humiliated (discarded) water
Did We not create you out of a humble flui
Did We not create you of a contemptible water
Did We not create you from a base flui
Did We not create you from an insignificant drop of flui
Did We not create you from a worthless fluid
Did We not create you from despicable water?
Did We not create you from a (tiny) drop of filthy fluid
Have We not created you from despicable water?
Did We not bring you into being from a contemptible fluid, an ejaculation
Didn’t We create you out of an embarrassing fluid?
Did We not create you from a humble fluid,
Did We not create you from an insignificant fluid?
Did We not create you from a humble fluid
Did we not create you from a lowly liquid
Did We not create you from an insignificant liquid?
Did We not create you from an insignificant liquid?
Did We not create you from humiliated water?
Did We not create you from a base fluid
Did We not create you from a humble fluid? (How, then, you forget your common origin and being humble to one another?
Did We not create you from contemptible water
Did WE not create you from an insignificant fluid
Did We not create you from a base fluid
Have We not created you from a fluid (held) in low esteem
Didn’t We create you from a base fluid?
Did We not create you from an insignificant fluid
Did We not crec1.te you all from an ignominious fluid,
Did We not create you from a liquid disdained
Did We not create you from contemptible water?
Have We not created you from a fluid (held) despicable?
Have We not created you from a fluid (held) despicable?
فَجَعَلۡنَـٰهُ فِی قَرَارࣲ مَّكِینٍ ۝٢١
which We housed in a safe lodgin
which We placed in a place of safety (womb),
Which We placed in a depository safe
Then We lodged you in a secure place (the womb
We formed it in a safe place (the womb),
then place it in a secure repository
[and] then lodged it in a secure abod
Then We placed it in a firm, secure place (to remain
Then We placed it in a secure and safe place
that We laid within a sure lodgin
Then We placed it in a safe quarter (the womb)
Then place that tiny embryo in a safe resting place
Which We placed in a place of rest, firmly fixed
then lodged it in a secure place
and place it in a sure depositor
We then kept it in a safe place

Then We designed; so how excellent designers We are
Thus have We determined (everything related to your existence), and how excellent We are in determining
Thus did We determine, and how good We are at determining
We determined; excellent determiners are We
So, We are able, and We are very capable.
Then designed it to the best of the proportion
And We decide, for We are the best to decide
And We have determined, so what excellent determiners are We!
for we are able and well able too
We then calculated; so how excellently do We control
Thus do We measure [in truth] and We are the best of those who measure [in truth].
And We were able to do this: For We are most powerful
Thus We arrange things - how well are We at arranging things
We determined, how excellent a Determiner are We
Such is our power! and, how powerful are We
Then We assessed and determined (the various stages and processes of intra-uterine life and the signals for delivery); then (We proved to be) the excellent Assessors and those Who determine
And We measured. How bountiful are the ones who measure!

We have estimated its term - how excellent an estimator We are
See that We had the power to do so. Great indeed is Our power to do what We will
So We determined -- how well are We at determining
thus We programmed, for We are Excellent Programmers.
We then fixed terms [for everything in man's life]. And We are the best in fixing terms
Then We determined time periods (for all the stages of growth from conception to birth). And how excellent do We determine

Thus We did (all this with perfect) measure; so We are the best to measure

This is what We destined! How very excellent is Our destiny
We perfectly decreed its process of developing. How Brilliant are We in doing so!.
We then determined, besides the span of this period, the relevant constitution and how right is the determination
precisely determined by Us; we are excellent at determining its length.
We ˹perfectly˺ ordained ˹its development˺. How excellent are We in doing so!
For We arrange it all in an excellent manner.
All this We did; how excellent is Our work
We measured it precisely. We are the best designer
And We determined it, how excellently We determine.

So we estimated. So, how graciously is the estimator.

Did We not place firm, lofty mountains on it and provide you with sweet water
placed on it firm, tall and high mountains, and given you sweet water to drink?
And have placed therein firm and tall mountains and given you to drink of water fres
And placed in it lofty and broad stablisers, and gave you sweet water to drink
We formed therein elevated (grand, majestic) mountains that are firm and made you drink sweet water.
Did We not place firmly embedded mountains in it, soaring high into the air, and give you sweet fresh water to drink?
and set in it lofty [and] firm mountains, and given you agreeable water to drink
And set therein mountains firm, lofty in stature, and given you to drink the sweet water (gushing out of them)
And (have We not) made therein lofty mountains and (by means of them) We provide you sweet and wholesome water to drink

They will be told, ‘Go to that which you used to deny
(It will be said to the disbelievers on the Day of Judgment): “You depart to that (hell) which you used to deny!
'Depart Unto that which ye were wont to belie
"Go to what you used to deny
Proceed to that which you denied!
Proceed to that which you denied!
[They will be told]: ‘Get off toward what you used to deny
"Move towards that (Fire) which you used to deny
(It will be said to the followers of Trinity,) `Now, move on towards that (punishment) which you cried lies to
Depart to that you cried was lies
(They will be told:) “Proceed to what you were denying,
Now go to Hell; the same Hell that you did not believe in its existence
It will be said “Go to that which you used to reject as false
“Proceed to what youpl used to disbelieve in.
Go off to that which ye did call a lie
“Move towards what you used to deny!”
“Go forth to that which you used to belie.
It shall be said unto them, go ye to the punishment which ye denied as a falsehood
Go on to that which you used to deny!
Depart to that which you belied
Begone to that Hell which ye called a lie:
(It will be announced to the disbelievers on that Day): Proceed towards what you had been denying thereof
Set out toward what you had been in it denying.
Depart to that which you rejected as false.
On the Day of Judgment it will be said to the disbelievers: "Walk on to hell which you used deny
Proceed now towards that which you were wont to deny as false
Walk on to that which you called a lie
(It will be said to them), “Proceed towards that which you used to deny.
"Proceed now to what (Hereafter) you had been denying!"
(Now) move on to that (torment) which you used to deny
Away with you towards what you have disbelieved

Leave/go/set out to what you were with it lying/denying/falsifying
GO ON towards that [resurrection] which you were wont to call a lie
Go off to what you used to cry as lies
(It will be said unto them:) Depart unto that (doom) which ye used to deny
Proceed to that (the Day of Judgment) which you have rejected
(It will be said to them on that day,) .Push on to what you used to deny
Thus, (it will be said unto them): “Go forth to that doom because of that which you used to deny.
(They would be told), "Proceed now and enter (hell), the very thing you used to deny (so vehemently)."
So (they will be told): “Go forth to that doom which you were inclined to deny.
There and then shall the wicked be told "Now suffer the consequence of what you denied and treated as falsehood"
“Go to the place, you used to deny!
˹The disbelievers will be told,˺ “Proceed into that ˹Fire˺ which you used to deny!
Go away to what you denied.

Go to a shadow of smoke!’ It rises in three columns
You depart towards the shadow (of hellfire smoke ascending) in 3 columns,

Proceed to the shadow of the trident (let your faith in the trinity [God-the Son and the Holy Spirit] save you now)!

that neither has a comfortable shade, nor is it of any use against the scorching heat
Which neither can shade, nor can avail against the Blazing Flame.
It neither provides the cool shade, nor lends protection against the (fierce) flames
Which gives the impious neither shade nor shelter from the Blazing Flame.”
Which neither screen, nor hide nor protect from the heat or from the blazing flames streaming in avalanches
This will provide neither cool shade nor safety from the heat of the flames.

but it shall cast forth sparks as big as towers
Surely it sends up sparks like palaces

The sparks which it casteth out are like towers
Verily, it (i.e., the Hell) throws about sparks simulating a (huge) castle
Truly, it will throw up sparks of fire like the palace,

On the Day of Judgment, the disbelievers will loose their ability to talk

هَـٰذَا یَوۡمُ ٱلۡفَصۡلِۖ جَمَعۡنَـٰكُمۡ وَٱلۡأَوَّلِینَ ۝٣٨
[They will be told], ‘This is the Day of Decision: We have gathered you and earlier generations
Such will be the Day of decision! We will bring you and your previous generations together!
This is the Day of Decision, We have assembled both ye and the ancients
That will be the Day of Reckoning. Gathered will be (you) and the earlier (generations)
This is the time of sorting! We have brought you and the former ones together.
´This is the Day of Decision. We have gathered you and the earlier peoples.
‘This is the Day of Judgement. We have brought together you and the ancients
"This is the Day of Judgment and Distinction (between people, according to how they believed and acted in the world). We have assembled you and the earlier ones (from earlier communities who were also deniers)
(God will tell them,) `This is the Day of Judgment (when) We have gathered you and all the earlier peoples together
'This is the Day of Decision; We have joined you with the ancients
This is the day of separation/decision, We assemble you and the earlier ones.
This is the Day of Judgment, I (God) have summoned you and the generations before you
That will be a day of sorting out. We will gather you together with those before you

˹They will be told by Allah,˺ “This is the Day of ˹Final˺ Decision: We have gathered you along with earlier disbelievers ˹for punishment˺.
This is the day of division, We gathered you and the earlier communities.
Such is the Day of Judgement. We will herd you all, together with past generations
This is the Day of Decision. We have summoned you and the previous generations
This is the Day of Decision; We will have gathered you together with the earlier people.

This is the decisive adjudication day; We have gathered you, and the formers.
This is the Day of Sorting out (right from wrong). We have brought you and the men of old togethe

That will be a Day of Judgment! We shall gather you and those before you together

That is the day of judgment, when We will gather you all and all of those before you.
This is the Day of Judgement; We will have assembled you and the former peoples
This is the Day of Decision. We gathered you and the former people;
That will be a Day of Sorting out! We shall gather you together and those before (you)

فَإِن كَانَ لَكُمۡ كَیۡدࣱ فَكِیدُونِ ۝٣٩
If you have any plots against Me, try them now.’
So, if you have a plot, then plot against Me!
If now ye have any craft, try that craft upon Me
So if you have any plot to devise against Me, then devise it
So, if you have a trick, try your trick against Me now!
So if you have a ploy, use it against Me now!´
If you have any stratagems [left], try out your stratagems against Me!’
"So if you have a scheme (to save yourselves from My punishment), then apply it (against Me)!"
`If you have any device try it against Me (to escape this punishment).
if you have a trick, try you now to trick Me!
So, if you have a plot (trick), then plot it.
If you know of any trick, go ahead and use it against me (God.
Now, if you have a plot, use it against Me
So if you have a plot, then plot against Me.
if ye have any stratagem employ it now
If you now have any conspiracy, carry it out on Me
So if you do have any plot, then plot against Me.
Whereofore, if ye have any cunning stratagem, employ stratagems against Me
So if you have a plan, plan against Me now
If you are cunning, then try your cunning against Me
If now ye have any craft try your craft on me
So if a plot became (of some benefit) for you, then prepare against Me
So if you had been cunning, then, try to outwit Me.
If you have a scheme, go ahead and use it against Me [your Lord].
Now if you have a plot, use it against Me
So if you have any ploy, try it against Me
So if you have a plan, plan against me (now)
So if there is any plot you have, then do plot against Me.
If now you have any scheme, dare to use it against Me
Then if you have any scheme (and trick to escape from the torment), try (that) against Me
So if you have a scheme, then make use of it
So if you have a plan, then make use of it.
So if you have a plan, then make use of it.
So if (there) was for you (a) plot/conspiracy , so plot/conspire against Me
and if you [think that you] have a subterfuge left, try to outwit Me!"
So, if (ever) you have any plotting, then plot against Me
If now ye have any wit, outwit Me
If you have any plans, use them
Now, if you have a trick, use the trick against Me
Therefore, if you have any evil plan, then devise it (if you can).
"If you have a trick left (up your sleeves), play it now! Outwit Me!"
Now, if you have a stratagem (by which you can save yourselves from the punishment), go ahead and use it against Me!
Now if you have a plan to evade judgment, conduct it to conclusion if you can
If you’ve devised a plot against Me then try it!
So if you have a scheme ˹to save yourselves˺, then use it against Me.”

If then you are cunning, try your spite against Me
If you have any schemes, go ahead and scheme

Woe, on that Day, to those who denied the truth
Woe on that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)!
Woe on the day Unto the beliers
Alas the woe that day for those who deny
Woe to the deniers at that time!
On that Day, woe to the deniers!
Woe to the deniers on that day
Woe on that Day to those who deny
On that day woe shall befall those who belie (the truth
Woe that day unto those who cry it lies
Woe to the deniers on that day.
Sorrow and pity on that day to the rejecters of the truth
Ah woe that day to the rejecters of truth
Woe on that day to the disbelievers.
Woe on that day for those who say it is a lie
Ruin is for the deniers on that day
Woes on that day are for the beliers.
Woe be, on that day, unto those who accused the prophets of imposture
Woe on that day to the rejecters
Woe on that Day to those who belied it
Woe on that day to those who charged with imposture
Woe that Day to the deniers
Woe on that Day to the ones who deny!
Beware that day, rejecters of truth.
Woe on that Day to the disbelievers
Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth
Woe on that day to the rejectors
Sorrowful will be the state on that day, of the deniers.
Woe that Day for those who had denied the Truth
Woe (i.e., dejection) to the deniers on that Day
Woe on that Day to the disbelievers
Woe on that Day to the disbelievers!
Woe on that Day to the disbelievers!
Calamity/scandal (on) that day to the liars/deniers/falsifiers
Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth
Upon that Day woe to the beliers
Woe unto the repudiators on that day
On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations
Woe that Day to the deniers
Woe unto the ones who refuse to admit the truth of that day.
Misery that day is for those who (dispute and) deny (the truth)
Woe betide, on that day, those who are spiritually blind!
Woe then to those who looked upon the truth as an intentional assertion of what is false
A Day of great loss for the deniers
Woe on that Day to the deniers!
Woe on that day to those who deny.
On that day woe betide the disbelievers
Woe on that day to the rejectors
How terrible is that Day for those who deny the truth.
How terrible is that Day for those who deny the truth.
Woe on that Day for the falsifiers.
Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Trut
Anguish on that Day for those who deny the Truth in practice
Woe on that day to the rejecters
Woe on that day unto those who reject the Truth
Woe that Day to the deniers
And, woe (sorrow and suffering), that Day for those (people) who reject the Truth
Woe to the disbelievers on that Day!
Woe on that Day to the falsifiers
Woe on that day to those who reject truth as false!
Woe, that Day, to the deniers
Woe on that day to those who say it is a lie!
Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth
Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth
إِنَّ ٱلۡمُتَّقِینَ فِی ظِلَـٰلࣲ وَعُیُونࣲ ۝٤١
But those who took heed of God will enjoy cool shade, springs
Surely, the pious shall reside in shades and springs
Verily the God-fearing shall be amid shades and springs
Those who take heed for themselves and fear God, will be amidst shade and springs of water
Indeed, the protected ones will be among shades and springs.
The people with taqwa will be amid shade and fountains
Indeed the Godwary will be amid shades and springs
Surely the God-revering, pious will be amidst pleasant shade and springs
(As for) those who guarded against evil and were dutiful (to God and mankind) they shall, indeed, on that day live in the midst of comforts and (in places with) springs
Truly the godfearing shall dwell amid shades and fountains
Indeed, those who are cautious (of God) are in shades and springs,
The righteous ones, on the other hand, will enjoy pleasant shades and springs
As for the righteous, they will be amid shade and springs
Indeed, the mindful (of God) are amidst shades and springs
Verily, the pious are amid shades and spring
Indeed the pious are in shade and springs
Truly those who safeguard their own souls will be in cool shades and fountains.
But the pious shall dwell amidst shades and fountains
Surely those who guard against evil shall be amid shades and fountains
Indeed, the cautious, shall live amid shades and fountain
But the god-fearing shall be placed amid shades and fountains
Verily, Al-Muttaqun shall be amidst shades and springs
Truly, the ones who are Godfearing will be amidst shade and springs
The righteous shall be amid shades, fountains,…
Surely the righteous shall dwell amidst cool shades and spring
Behold, today the God-fearing will be amidst shades and springs
Surely the dutiful are amid shades and fountains
Those who had guarded (against evil) will be in shades and springs,
Pious persons are amidst shades and fountains
Surely, the Godfearing will be (rejoicing) under cool shades and amid springs
The righteous are among shades and springs

That truly the fearing and obeying (are) in shades and water springs/wells
[AS AGAINST this,] behold, the God-conscious shall dwell amidst [cooling] shades and springs
Surely the pious will be in shades and springs
Lo! those who kept their duty are amid shade and fountains
The pious ones will rest amid the shade, springs
Of course, the God-fearing will be amid shades and streams
Indeed, the ‘Pious’ will dwell amid shades and fountains,
The pious ones (that day) would be amidst cool shades, fountains
Indeed, the Pious will dwell amid shades and fountains,
But the righteous who keep Allah in mind with bosoms filled with reverential awe are amidst cool shades and spectacular springs
The righteous will enjoy themselves in cool shade and gushing springs,
Indeed, the righteous will be amid ˹cool˺ shade and springs
Those who beware (of Allah) will be in shade and springs.
The righteous shall dwell amidst cool shades and fountains
The righteous will enjoy shade and springs
The God-conscious will be amidst shades and springs,
The God-conscious will be amidst shades and springs,
Surely the pious will be in shades and springs.
The righteous are amidst shades and fountains (of Heaven)
Behold, those who walk aright, are amid shades and springs
Surely those who guard (against evil) shall be amid shades and fountains
The righteous will be in the midst of shades and springs
Truly the reverent shall be amid shade and springs
Verily, as to the righteous (people) they shall be in (cool) shades and springs (of water)
The righteous will be amidst shades and springs.
The righteous will be amidst shades and fountains
As for the conscientious, they will be in the midst of shades and springs,
Indeed, the righteous will be among shades and spring
Indeed, those who fear are in shades and springs,
As to the Righteous, they shall be amidst (cool) shades and springs (of water)

وَفَوَ ٰكِهَ مِمَّا یَشۡتَهُونَ ۝٤٢
and any fruit they desire
and they will have whatever fruits they desire.
And fruits such as they shall desire

With every fruit they desire.
and have any fruits that they desire:
and fruits, such as they desire
And fruit of whatever kinds they desire
And fruits, such as they desire
and such fruits as their hearts desire
and whatever fruits they desire.
They will be offered any fruit that they desire
And fruits, all they desire
and fruits as they desire.
and fruit such as they love.
And among fruits whichever they may desire
And they will have [at their disposal] fruits from all that they desire.
and fruits of the kinds which they shall desire
And fruits such as they desire
and have such fruits as they desire
And fruits, whatsoever they shall desire
and fruits out of that which they may desire
and sweet fruit for which they lust:
…and fruits –all that they desire.
and shall have whatever fruits they desire
and the fruits that they desire (will be ready at hand)
And fruits such as they desire
and fruits which they desire.
And [they get] fruits such as they desire
And whatever fruits they will long for (will be available for them)
And fruit from what they desire

And fruits such as they desir
And fruit as they desire

And (they shall have) the fruits— All that they wish
And fruits of their choosing.

[they will be told], ‘Eat and drink to your hearts’ content as a reward for your deeds
(It will be said to them): “Eat and drink comfortably for that which you used to do (good deeds).”
'Eat and drink with relish that which ye have been working
"Eat and drink with relish as reward for what you had done."
“Eat and drink with joy as the result of your deeds!”
´Eat and drink with relish for what you did.
[They will be told:] ‘Enjoy your food and drink, [as a reward] for what you used to do.’
"Eat and drink to your hearts’ content for all that you used to do (in the world)."
(It will be said to them,) `Eat and drink delightfully as a reward for that which you used to do (in your life-time).
'Eat and drink, with wholesome appetite, for that you were working.
Eat and drink joyfully for what you used to do.
Enjoy eating and drinking . This is the reward of your good deeds
“Eat and drink to your heart’s content, for all that you did
“Eat and drink pleasantly on account of what youpl used to do.”
'Eat and drink with good digestion, for that which ye have done!
“Eat and drink with pleasure, the reward of your deeds.”
“Eat and drink in self-congratulation for all that you used to do.”
And it shall be said unto them, eat and drink with easy digestion, in recompense for that which ye have wrought
Eat and drink pleasantly because of what you did
(It shall be said to them): 'Eat and drink, with a good appetite, for all that you did.
"Eat and drink, with health, as the meed of your toils."
Eat and drink in happiness and joy because of what you had been doing (in your worldly life)
Eat and drink wholesomely for what you had been doing.
Eat and drink to your heart’s content because of your works.
We shall say to them: "Eat and drink to your heart’s content, this is the reward for your good deeds."
Eat and drink and may every joy attend you as a reward for your deeds
Eat and drink pleasantly for what you did
(It will be said), “Eat and drink pleasantly because of that, which you used to do.”
"Eat and drink to your satisfaction as a reward for your [good] deeds."
(It will be said to them:) ‘Enjoy eating and drinking to your taste as a reward for what you used to do.
"Eat and drink comfortably for what you used to do."
"Eat and drink comfortably for what you used to do."

Eat and drink pleasurable/wholesome because (of) what you were making/doing
[and they will be told:] "Eat and drink in good cheer in return for what you did [in life]!"
"Eat and drink, rejoicing with wholesome appetite, for whatever you were doing."
(Unto them it is said:) Eat, drink and welcome, O ye blessed, in return for what ye did
(They will be told), "Eat and drink in good health as a reward for what you have done"
It will be said to them, .Eat and drink with pleasure because of what you used to do
(They will be told): "Eat and drink blissfully because of the good deeds which you used to do!”
"Eat and drink, and relish your rewards! (It is yours) in return for what you used to do."
Eat and drink in full enjoyment for what you used to do.
They shall be told: "Eat and drink and enjoy all that affords pleasure in return for your deeds and actions which involved effort directed to a definite and commendable end."
They will be told: “Eat, drink and be merry for what you did.”
˹They will be told,˺ “Eat and drink happily for what you used to do.”
Eat and drink legitimately on account of what you used to do.
Eat and drink, and may every joy attend you
Eat and drink happily in return for your works
"Eat and drink and enjoy it as a reward for your deeds."

'Eat and drink pleasantly, for what you used to do.'
"Eat and drink, as wholesome and beneficial, for what you have done.”
[Being told], "Eat and drink in satisfaction for what you used to do."
Eat and drink with good digestion, for what you used to do.
"Eat ye and drink ye to your heart's content: for that ye worked (Righteousness)
"Eat ye and drink ye to your heart's content: for that ye worked (Righteousness)
إِنَّا كَذَ ٰلِكَ نَجۡزِی ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِینَ ۝٤٤
this is how We reward those who do good.’
Surely, thus We will reward the righteous.
Verily We! in this wise We recompense the well-doers
That is how We reward the good
Thus We respite the doers of good (in whose observation there is none but the Truth).
This is the way We reward good-doers.´
Thus indeed do We reward the virtuous
Thus do We reward those who are devoted to doing good, aware that God is seeing them
Truly that is how We reward the doers of good
Even so do We recompense the good-doers
Indeed, that is how We reward the good doers.
This is the way that I (God) reward my righteous servants
We certainly reward the doers of good
Indeed, this is how We repay those who excel in doing good.
Verily, thus do we reward those who do well
This is how We reward the virtuous
Thus truly do We reward those who act in excellence.
for thus do We reward the righteous doers
Surely thus do We reward the doers of good
As such We recompense those who did good
Thus recompense we the good
Verily, We — thus We reward Al-Muhsinun
Truly, We, thus, give recompense to the ones who are doers of good.
Thus do We certainly reward those who live righteously.
Thus shall We reward the righteous
Thus do We reward those that do good
Thus do We reward the doers of good
Thus do We reward the doers of good.
Thus indeed do We reward the good
Indeed, the same way do We reward the pious
It is such that We reward the good doers
It is such that We reward the good doers.
It is such that We reward the good doers.
That truly like that We reimburse the good doers
Thus, behold, do We reward the doers of good
Thus surely We recompense the fair-doers
Thus do We reward the good
Thus do We reward the righteous ones
This is how We reward those who do good deeds
This is how We reward those who pursue righteousness
This is really how We reward the righteous
This is how We reward those who pursue righteousness and perfection in Faith.
For thus do We reward those whose deeds are imprinted with wisdom and piety and the benevolence they spend
That’s how We reward the righteous people.
Surely this is how We reward the good-doers.
For this is how We reward those who do good.
This is the guerdon of your labours.‘ Thus shall We recompense the righteous
We thus reward the virtuous
This is how We reward those who do good.

Surely thus We rewarded the benefactors.
Thus do We certainly reward the Doers of Goo
Behold, thus do We reward the doers of good to others
Surely thus do We reward the doers of good

Such is how We reward the doers of good.

كُلُوا۟ وَتَمَتَّعُوا۟ قَلِیلًا إِنَّكُم مُّجۡرِمُونَ ۝٤٦
[You may] eat and enjoy yourselves for a short while, evildoers that you are
(O disbelievers)! Eat and enjoy yourselves (in this worldly life) for a little while. Surely, you are the criminals.
'Eat and enjoy a little; verily ye are culprits
Eat and enjoy for a while: You are certainly sinners
“Eat and enjoy yourself for a little (in this world)... Indeed, you are guilty!”
´Eat and enjoy yourselves for a little while. You are evildoers.´
‘Eat and enjoy a little! You are indeed guilty.’
Consume (the riches of the world) and enjoy your life but for a little while, for you are criminals, committed to accumulating sin
(Disbelievers!) eat and enjoy yourselves for a little while (in the world). Surely, you are the guilty (ones)
'Eat and take your joy a little; you are sinners!
Eat and enjoy a little, you are indeed the guilty ones.
O’ disbelievers enjoy eating and drinking for a few days of your life
Eat and enjoy yourselves a little while, because you are wrong-doers
“Eat and enjoy yourselves a little; youpl are indeed criminals.”
'Eat and enjoy yourselves for a little; verily, ye are sinners!
“Eat and enjoy for a while - indeed you are guilty.”
“Eat and enjoy for a little. Truly you are evildoers.”
Eat, O unbelievers, and enjoy the pleasures of this life, for a little while: Verily ye are wicked men
Eat and enjoy yourselves for a little; surely you are guilty
'Eat and enjoy yourselves a little, for you are sinners!
"Eat ye and enjoy yourselves a little while. Verily, ye are doers of evil."
(O you who are heedless to the Book of Allah in your day to day affairs in the world)! Eat and be benefited a little. Verily, you are Mujrimun
Eat, take joy for a little. You are ones who sin.
Eat and enjoy yourselves a little while, while you are sinners.
O culprits! Eat and enjoy yourselves for a little while. Surely you are culprits
Eat and enjoy yourselves for a while. Surely you are evil-doers
East and enjoy yourselves for a little; surely you are guilty
Eat and enjoy yourselves for a while, you are certainly criminals.
Eat and enjoy but little. You are sinners indeed
(O deniers of the truth!) Eat and enjoy yourselves for a short while. No doubt, you are the evildoers
"Eat and enjoy for a little while, for you are criminals."

Eat and enjoy little that you truly are criminals/sinners
EAT [your fill] and enjoy your life for a little while, O you who are lost in sin
"Eat and enjoy (your life) a little: surely you are criminals"
Eat and take your ease (on earth) a little. Lo! ye are guilty
(Disbelievers), eat and enjoy yourselves for a little while. You are certainly sinful ones
.(O disbelievers,) eat and drink for a while! You are guilty ones
(O’ you who lack Faith in Allâh), eat and enjoy yourselves for a while! Indeed, you are ungodly sinners.
(Oh unbelievers)! Eat and enjoy (your possessions) just a little while longer. Indeed, you are the criminals
Eat and enjoy yourselves for a while! Surely you are Ungodly Sinners.
You infidels may eat and enjoy yourselves here, but the span is short and then your iniquities shall be laid to your charge
Tell the disbelievers: “Eat and enjoy yourselves for a while; you are sinners”.

Alas the woe that day for those who deny

Woe on that Day to those who deny
On that day woe shall befall those who belie (the Truth)
Woe that day unto those who cry it lies
Woe to the deniers on that day.
Sorrow and pity on that day to the rejecters of the truth
Ah woe that day to the rejecters of truth
Woe on that day to the disbelievers.
Woe on that day for those who say it is a lie
Ruin is for the deniers on that day
Woes on that day are for the beliers.
Woe be, on that day, unto those who accused the prophets of imposture
Woe on that day to the rejecters
Woe on that Day to those who belied it
Woe on that day to those who charged with imposture
Woe that Day to the deniers
Woe on that Day to the ones who deny!
Beware that day, rejecters of truth.
Woe on that Day to the disbelievers
Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth
Woe on that day to the rejectors
Sorrowful will be the state on that day, of the deniers.
Woe that Day [Hereafter] for those who had denied the Truth

Calamity/scandal (on) that day to the liars/deniers/falsifiers
[But] woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth

On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations
Woe that Day to the deniers
Woe unto the ones who refuse to admit the truth of that day!
Misery that day is for those who (dispute and) deny (the truth)
Woe betide, on that day, those who are spiritually blind!
Woe to those who looked upon the truth as an intentional assertion of falsehood
A Day of great loss for the deniers!
Woe on that Day to the deniers!
Woe on that day to those who deny.
On that day woe betide the disbelievers
Woe on that day to the rejectors
How terrible is that Day for the deniers of the truth.

وَإِذَا قِیلَ لَهُمُ ٱرۡكَعُوا۟ لَا یَرۡكَعُونَ ۝٤٨
When they are told, ‘Bow down in prayer,’ they do not do so
When it is said to them: “Bow down yourself (in prayer before Allah)!” They don’t bow down.
And when it is said Unto them: 'bow down, they bow not down
When it is said to them: "Bow in homage," they do not bow
And when they are told, “Bow,” they do not bow!
When they are told to bow, they do not bow.
When they are told, ‘Bow down,’ they do not bow down
When they are told, "Bow down (before God in humility and worship Him)!" they do not bow down
When it is said to them, `Bow down (before your Lord)!' they bow not down
When it is said to them, 'Prostrate yourselves!' they prostrate not
And when they are told to bow down, they do not bow down.
Who did not obey their Lord and did not bow down to Him as a sign of respect and worship
And when it is said to them, “Prostrate yourselves,” they do not do so
And when it is said to them, “Bow down”, they do not bow down.

And when it is said to them, “Offer the prayer” – they do not
And when they are told, “Bow down” they do not bow down.

When it is said to them: "Bow down (before Allah)," they do not bow down

And when it is said to them to bow down, they do not bow down.
And when they are told to bow down, they bow not down
And when it is said to them: ‘Bow down (before Allah),’ they do not bow
And when they are told to kneel, they do not kneel
And when they are told to kneel, they do not kneel.
And when they are told "kneel," they do not kneel.
And when/if (it) was said to them: "Bow ." They do not bow
and when they are told, "Bow down [before God]", do not bow down
And when it is said to them, "Bow down!" They do not bow down
When it is said unto them: Bow down, they bow not down
When they are told to say their prayers, they do not bow down (in prayer)
And when it is said to them, .Bow down (i.e. submit to Allah‘s commands)., they do not bow down
When it is said to them: ”Bow in prayer!", But they refuse to bow!
When asked to kneel (before their Lord), they refused
When they are told to bow in prayer, they do not bow.
When told to engage in the act of worship and to humble themselves to Allah and bow down to Him in adoration, they refuse
When they were told, “Bow for prayer,” they didn’t bow.
When it is said to them, “Bow down ˹before Allah,” they do not bow.
And when they are told to bow down, they don´t bow down.
If they are bidden to kneel down, they do not kneel
When they are told, "Bow down," they do not bow down
And when It is said to them, "Bow down [in prayer]," they do not bow.
And when It is said to them, "Bow down [in prayer]," they do not bow.
And if it is said to them, “Kneel”, they do not kneel.
And when it is said unto them: Bow down, they bow not dow
And now when they are told, "Bow down", they bow not down! (They do not submit to Divine Commands)
And where it is said to them: Bow down, they do not bow down
And when it is said unto them, `Bow down,' they bow not down
And when it is said unto them, “Bow!” they bow not
And when it is said to them, "Bow yourselves (in Islam)!" They do not do so
If they were told, “Bow down,” they don’t bow down.
And when it is said to them, 'Kneel', they do not kneel
When it is said to them, "Bow down,” they do not prostrate themselves.
And when it is said to them, "Bow [in prayer]," they do not bow
And when it is said to them, 'Bow,' they do not bow.
And when it is said to them, "Prostrate yourselves!" they do not so
And when it is said to them, "Prostrate yourselves!" they do not so

Woe, on that Day, to those who denied the truth
Woe on that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)!
